NZGot there in the end. Very slow communication initially, to the point i got angry and forwarded the same email repeatedly. Sometimes it took them 9 days to reply. A month had past from the date of my 1st request for a refund, ( 04 March) & confirmation from them early April). They did blame Easter, however I started this a month prior to easter so I don't accept that. It was only then that I realised the DEBIT card I paid with originally, had expired since and been replaced. So after a few emails back and forth, with one of their head guys in the financial dept, I am pleased to say I got my refund and he was very quick to reply, and bent over backwards to help sort it. FYI expired debit cards are always linked to your account in NZ. You will however require that payment receipt number to give to the cards dept at the bank to speed up them allocating the funds to your account. They may have it sitting for a few weeks.

AULack of customer service Lack of customer service, numerous fine prints when booking with age restrictions. they request more money to change your booking to suit said age restrictions. never respond to emails. Outlined below by ViaResorts is incorrect information, Not one response has been helpful, as it’s been an opportunity to take more of our money. The fine prints they talk about are impossible to find and read when booking, the 9 email exchanges have been over 5 weeks - with not one helpful response - only asking for more money. And chasing them every single day on the online chat feature to be told I have to wait for a response - a further week. Being generous by giving one star. Stay away from via resorts. Absolutely disgraceful customer service.

THAll’s well that ends well……. I was very wary of Viaresort to the point I was beginning to think that they were a scam. I reviewed them 3 days ago, I was frustrated with the lack of communication and response from there booking team refunding my deposit for one of their holidays. I had contacted them with email as well as messenger to no avail. But I’m glad to say that everything turned out really well and I received my full refund. Behind the scenes Viaresort were trying to secure my stay at the hotel of my choice. I can only put the misunderstanding down to a lack of communication between their customer service and booking staff. I am grateful for the effort they have shown and I will definitely be booking with Viaresort’s in the near future. Thank you Viaresort’s.
