Property is located close to waterfront in the financial district - unit needs updating. Location of the property is great with lots of restaurants close by and near financial district. Very urban feel with a mix of homeowners and vacationers. The unit itself was quite dated and needs many fixes. The window blinds were broken and the sliding door in the guest bedroom was busted. Furniture was old and very low to ground (1990's style?). Carpet had stains. Air conditioner and dehumidifier kept the temperature cool. Unit has washer/dryer which is handy. Building has 2 pools, hot tub, huge workout facility and party room.

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 We had an amazing time and experience with this rental property. It was perfect for our larger group and everyone had a blast. Very close to everything you need. The owners respond very quick and answer any questions you may have. The only problem we encountered was confirming an early check in time with them because some one stayed the night before and rented last minute so we couldn’t check in early anymore due to the cleaning crew needing to clean the house for us. Wish we found that out a little sooner but not a big deal at all and other than that we had the best weekend ever!!! Very impressed with this property and hope to stay again!!!

Searchastay is Not Fit for Long-Term Stays My roommates and I spent four months at a Searchastay location in New York. Though very fortunate for this housing opportunity, I honestly did not know if we were being housed until I received the keys. There was definitely a lack of communication on the company’s side. From a mice infestation, lack of heat, and a broken oven, a responsive landlord would have been nice. My roommates and I had to fix the majority of our issues on our own, fixing light fixtures and settling with no working oven for four months. If you are looking for a long-term stay, I would not recommend Searchastay, however short-term may suffice.

If I could give zero stars If I could give zero stars, I would. My family and I booked an apartment in NYC through VRBO. The pandemic hit and we had to postpone until September, 2021, which was fine. Two months before we were due to travel, we were told our reservation was canceled. We’ve been trying to get our money back since then, and have still not gotten it. It’s gotten to the point where our calls and e-mails are going unanswered. Horrible, horrible experience.

Unreliable Unreliable. Booked room via Vrbo platform for a sharestay property. Room canceled last minute. Vrbo unaccommodating despite glitchy system. Sharestay unavailable by phone to assist with issue. Unable to find another rental due to high demand/last minute/price. Had to cancel entire trip. Never doing buisness with Vrbo or Sharestay again! If your smart, you wouldn't either!
