GBShambles of a company I am of disbelief that a company with such awful customer service and shoddy processes exist, 1 star is an extremely kind rating. Our booking which slept 12 people was double booked and we didn't find out until we were nearly at the property. We phoned the host who advised there was already a family in the property. After speaking with VRBO who offered no assistance, no support and had no empathy for the situation, 12 people were left with no where to go. We are still waiting on a refund from VRBO weeks later even though this wasn't our error and it quite frankly ruined a birthday weekend. If you want to be disappointed, disheartened and out of pocket then VRBO is the company for you.

GBImpossible cancellation process Impossible cancellation process. I tried multiple times to cancel my reservations within the alottled time. No reponse from propery owner, chatted with an agent who said she would cancel the reservations, this never happened. Called VRBO multiple times and was cutoff with no explanation. 2 weeks later, I still don't have a confirmed cancellation or refund of $600. I have rented multiple times with AirBnb and never had any issue. This feels a bit like fraud. I will never book with VRBO , and neither should you.

GBExceptional stay Fantastic old home but interior redone really well. quite enjoyable especially new hot tub. great location in twenty nine palms. very close to north entrance to Joshua tree national park.

GBListing on VRBO used to be a very easy…. Not any more. Listing on VRBO used to be a very easy process. Now putting up a new listing is a nighmare. I have spent over an hour trying to put up a new listing and I keep getting this error message for over an hour: "Try refreshing the page. We're having trouble loading this. Wait a moment, then try again." I tried calling the customer service number at 8:40 am on a Tuesday morning and received a recorded message that their offices are closed and to call back later. This is horrific customer service and a terrible website. How can the website have issues at the very beginning of the listing process for over an hour. This is not the first time I've had problems trying to put up a listing.

PTVRBO ruined our vacation VRBO ruined our vacation! They are part of the same company we refuse to ever work with again which is Expedia. They will not advocate for your experience as a customer. Their business model is not to give a refund no matter what. Even when the host of the VRBO had a mattress that was made of coils and rocks. I recommend that you work with airbnb instead of VRBO.
