FRSave yourself frustration and do something else. They make it sound attractive, but do not use Luggage Free to ship anything internationally if you want to keep your sanity. The first time I used them, the baggage arrived three days earlier than they said, which meant nobody was home to receive the bag. It was just left on a doorstep despite claiming someone would have to sign for it. Luckily I saw it on my webcam and had to ask a neighbor to grab it for me. The new suitcase that I shipped was severely beaten up, but LF refused to cover the damage, saying it was normal wear and tear. I was worried about using them again this week, but we had weddings/graduations to go to in different countries, a long trip, and light planes that couldn't take big luggage, which necessitated it. I decided to try again and immediately regretted it because 1. After I submitted my itinerary as requested, LF claimed I needed a different itinerary because I was shipping the bag to France and flying to Geneva, Switzerland. They could not figure out that Geneva airport is on the French border and is partly in France, and since it is the major international airport in the area, it serves both France and Switzerland. You would have thought an international shipper could figure that out, but it took a lot of explanation, back and forth, and additional documents on my part to convince them this was a normal occurrence 2. After it was shipped, DHL couldn't figure out how to open a clasp on the suitcase, claiming it was locked when it clearly was not. 3. They claim they found "foreign currency" in the suitcase - huh? Maybe a coin or two in a pocket is "foreign currency," but that delays shipment? (NB they must be emptying EVERYTHING out of the suitcase if they found two small coins in there that I had not found ) ? 3. They claim supplements in there are medications and can't be shipped despite saying nothing about that on their prohibited list. So we have to throw them out or have the whole bag shipped back home when we have already left and desperately need the contents on our trip- basically blackmail and no choice. Understand that Luggage Free just ships via Fedex, DHL, etc., so if you have issues, you end up dealing with two companies instead of one. You talk to Luggage Free, and they can't resolve it because they say DHL told them it was an issue. So you have to speak to DHL, too. It is a complete cluster that is massively frustrating and inefficient. I have no idea/confidence that the shipment will get here on time for our events now with all of these delays. I really regret trying to use them a second time - there will not be a third. Next time, I will go directly to one of the shippers or find another solution.

GBWe’ve been using your service for a… We’ve been using your service for a couple years. Only one time everything not great but that was because weather issues in the country so no issue. Maybe a tad expensive but I have to remember the convenience we’re paying for. I will say this. Don’t ever get so big that you change your customer service on the phone. It’s always top notch

GBOur experience with Luggage Free was Positive and Worthwhile Luggage Free worked beautifully for our cruise. My husband is mobility challenged. I could not manage his mobility as well as our luggage. The luggage was picked up at our door as promised; the person we worked with kept contacting me prior to the pick-up; and the luggage reached both our cruise destination and then back to our home right on schedule. It wasn't real easy to pass the luggage on to the Luggage Free contact person at the port, but somehow it all worked out. I laud the port driver's patience and promptness.
