Shipped internationally Shipped internationally, which can have some hiccups. No issues at all with Luggage Free. Also, I made an error on the date of the return pick up, which was handled flawlessly.

Everything went as promised. Everything went as promised. 2 comments- i am mobility impaired and had specially asked that the 2 suitcases be picked up by FedEx from my condo unit 709 vice me having to carry them down to the first floor in another building to Condo Association Front Office. I got a call from the driver who said he didnt get that word but did come to my unit for pickup. On the return dropoff, i had to made my own arrangements to get suitcases from Front Office to my condo unit 2-My bags needed be on the ship February 27; pickup had to be no later than february 16, according to your customer service rep. My bags arrived in miami february 20, 7 days. Consider too much cushion-VA to FLA, Return also took only 4 days.

Amazing service from start to finish Amazing service from start to finish. I wondered if it was possible to transport some of our luggage to our end destination once finished with, rather than lugging 2 extra cases with cold weather gear, to the sunshine break in the middle of our holiday. Google search & here is the outcome. Cheaper than paying the airlines for our extra checked bags & delivered within 2 days vs the 3-5 paid for. Fabulous. Excellent service.

Save yourself frustration and do something else. They make it sound attractive, but do not use Luggage Free to ship anything internationally if you want to keep your sanity. The first time I used them, the baggage arrived three days earlier than they said, which meant nobody was home to receive the bag. It was just left on a doorstep despite claiming someone would have to sign for it. Luckily I saw it on my webcam and had to ask a neighbor to grab it for me. The new suitcase that I shipped was severely beaten up, but LF refused to cover the damage, saying it was normal wear and tear. I was worried about using them again this week, but we had weddings/graduations to go to in different countries, a long trip, and light planes that couldn't take big luggage, which necessitated it. I decided to try again and immediately regretted it because 1. After I submitted my itinerary as requested, LF claimed I needed a different itinerary because I was shipping the bag to France and flying to Geneva, Switzerland. They could not figure out that Geneva airport is on the French border and is partly in France, and since it is the major international airport in the area, it serves both France and Switzerland. You would have thought an international shipper could figure that out, but it took a lot of explanation, back and forth, and additional documents on my part to convince them this was a normal occurrence 2. After it was shipped, DHL couldn't figure out how to open a clasp on the suitcase, claiming it was locked when it clearly was not. 3. They claim they found "foreign currency" in the suitcase - huh? Maybe a coin or two in a pocket is "foreign currency," but that delays shipment? (NB they must be emptying EVERYTHING out of the suitcase if they found two small coins in there that I had not found ) ? 3. They claim supplements in there are medications and can't be shipped despite saying nothing about that on their prohibited list. So we have to throw them out or have the whole bag shipped back home when we have already left and desperately need the contents on our trip- basically blackmail and no choice. Understand that Luggage Free just ships via Fedex, DHL, etc., so if you have issues, you end up dealing with two companies instead of one. You talk to Luggage Free, and they can't resolve it because they say DHL told them it was an issue. So you have to speak to DHL, too. It is a complete cluster that is massively frustrating and inefficient. I have no idea/confidence that the shipment will get here on time for our events now with all of these delays. I really regret trying to use them a second time - there will not be a third. Next time, I will go directly to one of the shippers or find another solution.
