Caveat Emptor Our daughter enjoyed the itinerary and the country of Belize. However, the fact that we could not use a credit card to make payments as we had to initiate a bank draft of provide a debit card is ridiculous. Especially considering that the trip was greater than $4,000 and EF tours accepted our money for 2-years prior to the departure. Then the first flight departed at zero-dark-thirty from 110-miles from home when there is an airport 3-miles from home was also frustrating. Because we needed to arrive no later than 4am to the airport we opted for a $200 hotel room the prior night. We incurred a hotel night or leave would have had to leave the house @2am. Then a 6-hour layover, probably to save more money, really was upsetting. We were then told to provide $125/pp in cash tips for the guides just prior to departing for the trip which was also frustrating. So >$600/day for a vacation package from Expedia was far more reasonable for $1,253 versus ~$4,525 should make you think twice about this company and their super inflated travel packages.

Our daughter came home from this trip… Our daughter came home from this trip and could not stop talking about her experience in Costa Rica. She spoke very highly of their tour guide and shared that he made a difference in the trip.

EF was excellent! EF was great every step of the way, from direct customer service support before the trip to the exceptional staff on my daughter's tour. I loved the app, too, to be able to see what she was up to each day of the trip. Great work!

EF Europe tour Just got back from a tour to Europe. We did Italy, Switzerland, and France in a week. We went as a group from Boonville, NY. We had the absolute best tour guide so I really just wanted to put that out there to thank her. Rossella Ibba spoke four languages, very knowledgeable, and tried to accommodate everyone’s needs. She has such a bubbly personality and set the mood every morning for positivity (no matter how early). ☺️ I was looking at all the pictures and really just wanted to put it out there that she is appreciated. The tour was educational and fun The tour was educational and fun. The tour guide was the best we've had in a long time. The aspects about the trip we didn't like was the hotel in Florence - dirty and it was filled with truck stop drivers. The food choices and quality for dinner was mediocre. The day we went to Rome to see the colosseum there was a large crowd to get through security, which took long time. This then rushed th Roman Forum and lunch so we could get to the Vatican on time. Maybe separate out these two area tours to different days during the busier months.
