BEWARE BEWARE! Getaroom.com is an illegitimate business. Just reported them to Better Business. They go by many names, I booked through their alias Guest Reservations. They are owned by Bookings Holdings. They show the same price as everyone else but when the charge goes through it was $200 dollars more and non refundable 10 minutes after the booking. No other site was non refundable for this hotel for that night and every other site said the taxes were $57. I was booking for my daughter who was attending a funeral of a 20 year old friend. No hotel should be allowing this company to book their rooms.

This company is a complete scam This company is a complete scam. They masquerade as the hotel's website, then when you book you find all sorts of fees added that you never expected. When you try to cancel they claim there is a no cancellation policy. So you're stuck. Try to dispute the charge and they tell your bank you are erroneously trying to get around paying for the room that you agreed to. COMPLETE SCAMMERS.

GETAROOM SCAMMERS Booked 3 rooms for two nights with breakfast after searching on hotel website but it seems getaroom jumps in during booking, sort of cuckoos and you end up going through them rather than hotel website, my booking with hotel should have been £730 we ended up costing £1012.92. We had to pay for breakfasts plus whatever commission they took which in my opinion is an outright scam, in fact I would say criminal. How can you be booking through Holiday inn then end up paying through getaroom, they sneaked in somehow. NEVER EVER BOOK THROUGH THEM check your online booking before you pay as they have other names it looks like from other reviews. The hotel said it has happened before as we were in reception another couple had the very same thing happen to them.

Not aware addition charge till I received confirmation of booking! Therefore Cancelled immediately dd 02/04/24 @ 18:13 Email confirmation received of cancellation Refused refund due unrefundable! If I had booked the hotel direct this would have been over £100 cheaper! Please be aware of using this company! No refund but As to my complaint regarding Tax Recovery Charges & Service Fees. Can confirm a satisfaction with a positive resolution has been accepted . As to your Customer Service Department with Getaroom, I thank you!

Beware!! Beware!!! We booked a room thinking we were booking through Hampton Inn. Canceled the reservation 15 minutes after booking and was told they were taking one night cost as a fee. Just tried calling again and they won’t even answer the phone unless you want to make a new reservation. This is unprofessional and a scam.
