GBBeware!! Beware!!! We booked a room thinking we were booking through Hampton Inn. Canceled the reservation 15 minutes after booking and was told they were taking one night cost as a fee. Just tried calling again and they won’t even answer the phone unless you want to make a new reservation. This is unprofessional and a scam.

GBCustomer service is responsive I was unhappy when I realized this third party booking agency severely over charges for the room. They charged me $350 per night for a room that was $250 per night at the Marriott. Furthermore, when I clicked on the link to book, their website posed as the direct hotel, which I found confusing. When I tried to cancel that same day after mistakenly booking, they told me there is a no refund policy. I had to speak directly with the hotel and the customer service agents at the hotel so they would agree to refund the third party. I contacted the agency, GetARoom.com, and they were responsive to my concerns with being charged in full after they had been refunded by the hotel. They agreed to refund me a portion of the room charge to resolve the misunderstanding. While it wasn’t a full refund, I do appreciate that they responded quickly. If it had been a full refund, I certainly would have given a 5 star rating because that would have been the ultimate customer service:

GBBEWARE BEWARE! Getaroom.com is an illegitimate business. Just reported them to Better Business. They go by many names, I booked through their alias Guest Reservations. They are owned by Bookings Holdings. They show the same price as everyone else but when the charge goes through it was $200 dollars more and non refundable 10 minutes after the booking. No other site was non refundable for this hotel for that night and every other site said the taxes were $57. I was booking for my daughter who was attending a funeral of a 20 year old friend. No hotel should be allowing this company to book their rooms.

GBThis company is a complete scam This company is a complete scam. They masquerade as the hotel's website, then when you book you find all sorts of fees added that you never expected. When you try to cancel they claim there is a no cancellation policy. So you're stuck. Try to dispute the charge and they tell your bank you are erroneously trying to get around paying for the room that you agreed to. COMPLETE SCAMMERS.

GBThink con-job. Encourage everyone to report to BBB. Think con-job. Thrives on deceptive marketing, having their company appear before the actual hotel direct booking link. My dad (im his 70s) booked a room through what he thought was The Comfort Inn (had the logo at the top of the page), where we've stayed for years, after checking out and being charged a $100.00 fee, he realized it was a third party and canceled immediately. Turns out you can cancel, but the cancelation is non-refundable.
