A massive waste of time Update to initial review: EVEN WORSE. Despite the message below from OnPay, I now (nearly three weeks later) just received ANOTHER two letters from the EDD about underpayments from Q3 of last year when OnPay was managing my payroll. I just wrapped another hour long phone call with the EDD trying to get this fixed. Honestly, it is a nightmare working with OnPay. Save yourself before you start! I used OnPay for nearly a year to payroll one part-time employee for my company and it was a complete disaster. They misfiled so many times that I was getting constant streams of bills from the EDD and now I have a credit with the EDD that it's going to take more than a quarter to get returned. Worse than that, I had to spend roughly 40 hours on the phone with OnPay customer support and the EDD to get it all worked out. All of this for one employee who worked a total of less than 200 hours in the whole year! It was a massive waste of my time and productivity. It would have been simpler to learn to do payroll myself. I switched to a new company in the fall and I couldn't be happier. Save yourself the time and the frustration.

This company has fallen off over the… This company has fallen off over the years. My small business missed one payment for them and was completely locked out of the account(Snow storm and pandemic effected earnings). When paying the restore fee of 1200 dollars they would not allow me to run payroll anymore. For one mistake. Customer service was garbage as well.

Not worth the savings I previously wrote a glowing review for OnPay but after using them for a couple of years now I have to say, my rating has definitely changed. For some reason they did not process our unemployment reports. I brought this to their attention and now nearly 3 months later they have not fixed it. Have tried for a week to speak with a manager and that hasn't happened also.

Tough Transition: Then Smooth Sailing The transition was tougher than I expected. There were some some things we did with our former provider that Onpay's system would not support. Once those changes were made, smooth sailing. I especially appreciate the quick availability of your service team... no waiting for hours get a question answered.

Great Service, Great Price! We have been with OnPay for only one quarter. However, during that time the service we've received has been stellar. Help is always a phone call away. I've not experience long on-hold times at all, and the representatives have always been courteous, understanding, and knowledgeable at addressing my questions. We are very happy to have switched from QuickBooks payroll and have saved a lot of money, and they helped make the transition easy.
