We can’t say enough positive things… We can’t say enough positive things about Where It All Began. They created a bespoke, seamless three week trip for five people ranging from age 13 to 75. Our unique interests and varied needs were addressed making it a lifetime memory for all of us. We received daily travel check-ins from them reminding us of travel details, pickup confirmations, etc. It was, by far, the best organized and easiest trip that I have ever taken. In addition to this, it was also the most interesting and personal trip that I have ever taken. We were invited into the homes of individuals from all over South Africa, learning about their experiences and stories. I will definitely ask Where it All Began to plan our next trip to Africa!

Best Travel Agent Phil and his colleagues helped us a lot in organizing our trip to South Africa. They came up with nice accommodations on beautiful locations and always respond quickly. When our program had to be adjusted due to an accident, they were able to quickly improvise to find alternatives. We would love to work with them again next time.

The holiday in Cape Town's surrounding Country side. The holiday in Cape Town was wonderful. Phil had managed to understand our needs and booked everything to suit us - not a shop or any crowds of tourists! Phil had given us a local cellphone which gave us confidence where ever we were and contacted us every day to check we were alright and happy with our travels. The country side we saw was breath taking and great to see places off the beaten track. A brilliant holiday Although we have visited South Africa many times, this was the first time we have used the services of Where It All Began. Their planning was exemplary and our queries were answered promptly and fully. The venues were just as we had expected and our holiday was enhanced by their services. The holiday notes provided were excellent; we have visited the Cape on many occasions in the past, and thought we knew our way around; but the notes led us to new places well worth visiting. In summary, we recommend Where It All Began unreservedly.

Perfect holiday Perfect holiday! Having stayed with Phil when he used to run Parker Cottage in Cape Town and receiving fantastic help and support there, we were keen to try out Where It All Began! We couldn't have been happier. I travel a lot with work and am pretty confident about moving around. What Phil offers however is fantastic properties which I would never have found.....a wonderful, quirky B&B in Swellendam where we ate the best meal we've ever had anywhere in the world, the most sumptious B&B in The Crags which rated as my husband's favourite place he has ever stayed....I could go on!! We would highly recommend Where It All Began - it will ensure you see the bits of the country you would never have otherwise found, all within budget and as others have said, delivered with a personal care and attention that's hard to match!
