GBMultiple bad experiences with Charlene's Safe Ride Charlene's safe ride has been late many times and overcharged a friend of mine without notice. She did not know until she checked her credit card statement. Also, their rates are not competitive compared to other cab companies in the area.

GBProfessional and prompt Great service! My driver called me beforehand to let me know he would be waiting and gave me his personal cell number. The driver was 10 minutes early to pick me up. He helped me with my bags and the cab was clean which is called big plus for me. I liked the personal service and I felt like a vip. I have tried several other taxi companies in the past and was not impressed. I am glad I found this company and I will be using csr exclusively from now on. Would recommend to anyone!

GBDoes the Job The representative taking reservations was not the most professional of people. She was slightly rude and her demeanor can greatly "put off" many potential customers. Also, for Duke students, it should be emphasized that the $30 is only between Duke and RDU. I think it would be a greater service if Charlene's did not cheap out on giving students rides to Belmont/places close to campus. I will be looking for other cab services.

GBAlways My First Choice When I need a taxi, I always contact Charlene's Safe Ride. Over the years, they have consistently provided reliable, courteous service. Their drivers are on time, helpful with baggage and take the most efficient routes. Their website is excellent and allows one to reserve and pay for the ride in advance if desired. Someone calls to verify so there is no confusion. I recommend this taxi service to all of my friends and family.

GBalways reliable, on time and friendly service I was lucky to find Charlene's when looking for an airport service in Durham. I have needed to travel to Durham quite a bit recently for family issues and I knew I could always rely on them. Great value, timely and reliable service, great follow up and confirmations. I enjoyed learning the history of the drivers, very engaging.
