GBA really positive experience! Staff are extremely knowledgable,helpful and courteous. The only down side is the policy of losing your money if you have to cancel[for health reasons or otherwise] within 7 days of your booking. Perhaps in this day and age 2/3 days might be more appropriate

GBMy Lake District Booking My experience with OPL started when I booked a 3 night stay at the Rothay Garden Hotel in Grassmere for the beginning of September. The booking which I made in April, was easy and straight forward. I found the information on their site gave an accurate and honest description of the hotel and its terms and conditions relating to the package offered. I was particularly impressed by the sections entitled "Home Truths" where they outline the pros and cons of each hotel to help you make the right choice. Our stay at the hotel went well and I would definitely use OPL again.

GBBelsfield Hotel Bowness-stunning views Belsfield Hotel Bowness-stunning views, most staff were friendly & helpful. However we were unable to sleep due to extreme heat in room.we had window open & fan on, no help. Rang night porter & he was absolutely no help, this was after midnight. At checkout I told reception & they were not interested. No heartfelt apology or offer of discount. Spoilt the stay for us.

GBBooked a 'so called' Luxury one night… Booked a 'so called' Luxury one night stay at Charingworth Manor for my birthday but the room and service were terrible. The bedroom floor was wet and there was a leak coming from the under the floor in the bathroom. To make matters worse the Hot tub was cold and then after the maintenance man adjusted it was then dangerously high (40) so was still unusable. Just when we thought nothing else could be wrong, my wife was having a shower when the shower rail fell down on her while she was opening it after a shower! When complaining to OffPeakLuxury they just referred me to the hotel who did not want to issue a refund. By using OPL to book it appears to make it more difficult to complain or get a refund.

GBReally great deal that couldn't be beaten I had a really great deal that included a nights stay at the Lion Quays Hotel, prosecco and muffins on arrival, entrance to spa (normally £35) and a delicious three course meal in the evening; and breakfast! I did compare prices directly and this deal couldn't be beaten. I've left a review because I was worried it was too good to be true and reading some of these reviews convinced me to book. Glad I did!
