Poor planning and service They did plan the trip and all parts went as scheduled. The issue is that they did not ask if we would like better accommodations some of the hotels were in less than optimal areas and lower end hotels. The flight times were red eye flights and may have been the only option but the return flight was the biggest issue, the scheduled shuttle dropped us at the airport 3 hours before it opened which forced us to sit outside in a poor area they should have alerted us and we may have scheduled a dinner then the airport So review the itinerary and question each part, are there better options and what is the wait between segments

Non-responsive regarding trip Booked a trip to Fiji, Bora Bora, Tahiti & NZ over a year ago, which was planned and cancelled August 2020. It is December 27, 2020 and we have still not received a refund of ANY sort and they are unresponsive. We have not been given answers or any information on reality of when and how much we will be refunded. We were initially told to expect full refund in 90 days, which was October. We are extremely disappointed and very unhappy with the events that have occurred. We understand the problems faced due to the pandemic but a simple response with factual information would be appreciated. We are unable to move forward with the purchase of a house & other major life things without our refund. Their disconcern and lack of response is extremely aggrivating. The trip cancellation was known of over 6 months ago.

Second Pacificislands Experience This is my second vacation using pacificislands. Both times I have had very kind and helpful travel specialists to ensure my vacation goes smoothly. This last time, our flight was cancelled and the next available flight was not until 3 days later. Valerie answered each and every phone call that I made to her. She quickly arranged for our vacation to be moved (flights/hotels/food, etc) within a reasonable amount of time. She processed the new itinerary (new dates, flights, etc) very quickly. She was also extremely kind and patient throughout the whole process. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Pacific islands did a great job booking… Pacific islands did a great job booking our trip. Make sure you get the level of hotels you want. We made lots of suggestions of hotels we wanted instead of what was in the package. We asked for more upscale on some and to downgrade on others. They were a big help on the transportation and transfers needed

Auckland, Cairns, Sydney and Fiji Experience My daughter and I highly recommend the Australia, New Zealand, Fiji tour put together through Elena P. She answered all our questions and our vacation was fantastic! Our hotels and transfers were all taken care of and included one sightseeing adventure in Aukland, Cairns, and Sydney. We had two days free at each city to book our own day trips so we included trips by ferry, sailboat, and a bus. The hotels were good but hands down, had excellent locations for walking to shopping, restaurants, and the harbors. We were glad we added an extra night at Sofitel in Fiji to make it 3 nights total, definitely a 4 star plus resort. We booked our own snorkeling and fishing trips through Rosie Holidays and it was a great way to end our trip.
