Do NOT use Blue Sun Weddings!! Do NOT use Blue Sun Weddings!!! They will turn your dream wedding into a nightmare. They are totally disorganized. Bride was in tears days before departing for her wedding. There was a complete lack of communication with her and with us as guests traveling to Mexico. Even with months of planning, the bride had no idea what her wedding bouquet would look like. They relocated her venue from the location she was promised. None of the guests (who paid in full months in advance) had travel documents or airport transfer information. We were promised to have the travel documents and trip confirmation in hand 3 weeks before the trip. We were promised transfer information from the airport to the resort 2 weeks before the trip. We received these 2 1/2 days before scheduled departure. This was after numerous attempts to contact Blue Sun - who don't even have a phone number! You can only reach them by email or scheduling an online appointment - which we tried to do, and the system didn't even send us confirmation that we had scheduled an appointment. We were told the missing travel documents and transfer information was a 1 time "computer glitch". However, after reading these reviews, it is clear that this is how they operate. We ended up not going to the wedding after paying in full. Our daughter who was to travel with us has an infant and she became very concerned about safety and the legitimacy Blue Sun and their ability to transfer us safely to the resort - since there was ZERO communication. We were flying into an area with an increased warning to a Level 3 - which is "reconsider travel" due to increased crimes against and kidnappings of Americans. Level 3 is the same level as Israel is currently at and they are in the middle of a war against Gaza. When I told Blue Sun that we were no longer going because my daughter was concerned about the lack of a safe transfer when we kept not getting information about it - they emailed saying the area was only under a Level 2 travel advisory. They tried to be tricky and go with the area the resort was in - even though the arrival/departure/transfer area was much higher risk. I have traveled to 6 out of the 7 continents and this is the worst travel booking experience I have ever had. They should not be in the travel business and DEFINITELY not in the business of weddings.

I inqured about services for my… I inquired about services for my Wedding on June 23,2023. Amy was the 1st person I dealt with and she was an absolute gem. She unfortunately, doesn't work for them anymore. I then was working with Dana Washburn who did good job. Zion at 1st was really great until the mistakes started. My guest were quoted 10,000 for four individuals in a room which obviously was incorrect. The agency also accidentally sent out the wrong date in emails regarding payment deadlines which completely turned my guest off. This was so stressful because dealing with 65 guest and traveling problems became so much work.It was constant miscommunication. She went on maternity leave but we were never notified about it and had a completely different person to work with which caused even more chaos. Currently I have family member’s that were unable to attend the wedding due to a death in their family. Thank God they had insurance however, till this day they are yet to receive their refund and tomorrow makes it a month since they last reached out. My website was never put on their site for accessibility however, other couples getting married a year after my wedding was posted on their site. It honestly was a horrific experience and I suggest more organization. It added on more stress to me as the Bride, and the purpose of this was to alleviate it.The CEO was involved and included which assited with smoothing things over but I'm still very disappointed it was unorganized and embarrassing to face family and friends with all of the discrepancies.

Lindsey was extremely patient, our vacation awaits Lindsey was extremely patient. Being that I steer away from aggregoters and all- inclusive resorts I musty admit that Apple trys hard. Except for acceptable errors because of a complicated booking Lindsey was very good. Despite the fact that he was not up to date about the hotels amenities and only upsold us a little with booking, he was very credible. I am still waiting to see several flight seating confirmations for my family, although I purchased a few seats on my own directly from the airline.. I expect this is not Lindsey's issue but Apples. Despite the issuance of the vacation has been acceptable I look forward to performance with flights, transfers and hotel.

Maliah is awesome! My wife and I met Maliah at Secrets Cap Cana while eating breakfast and while talking to her that morning we saw that she really loved her line of work. We are not a “cruising couple” so we prefer the all inclusive resorts which is right in Blue Sun’s wheelhouse. We usually go on two or three long weekends each year and one of these weekends (usually in March) we go with a group of friends. This year Maliah set us up at a five star resort in Cancun with nonstop flights for less than we could have booked it online. Blue Sun just got 8 new customers!

Frustrated 2nd time using BlueSun. First time was great. Second time was awful. Still waiting on a refund promised since the cancellation back prior to our April trip due to the Pandemic. Most of the refund was received except $611...no one is getting back to me anymore and so I have had to seek legal counsel. It is horrible for such a small amount and now Apple Vacations will end up paying more. They should have just expedited the remaining $611 and closed the file.
