The tour in Egypt was a dream come… The tour in Egypt was a dream come through. We had an amazing experience. We were met on time by our egyptologist guides, transfer guides and drivers except on one occasion. I recommend to carry a smartphone to contact Ya'lla office in Egypt in case of emergency (very useful). The itinerary was respected, few optional additions offered (all worthed). Shoppings stops, as expected, but good produces offerings, no pressure to buy. The tipping guide was helpful. Wished the Egyptians were taking Canadians dollars. I would skip the farewell lunch at the end.

The tour guides were very friendly and informative, enjoyed the fact that it was a small group with only 2 of us and guide. Accommodations were nice, it was a little cold in the hotels as there was no heat, but the hotels did provide extra blankets. The tour guide in Cairo was excellent, the guide in Luxor (and the cruise ship) was also good. The tour guide in Abu Simbel was not very good. The Egyptian people are very kind and I enjoyed visiting Egypt. The itinerary was excellent and covered all the highlights.

Avoid this company After a less than stellar 5* tour to Egypt, I wrote to the owner of the tour company out of courtesy to let him know the things I was disappointed in and that I would be posting somewhat negative reviews. What I got back was a defensive diatribe about his tour and his people and the following threat: “As your treats to post negative comments, I’m not threatened. You have no idea who I‘m and you have no idea about the arsenal I have in order to handle negative and not justified comments. I guess that if you chose to file something, you will find out.” The interesting thing is that I didn’t ask for anything from him and was just giving feedback. I would avoid this company because the owner is truly unfriendly and not good to work with.

The group we took to Egypt and Jordan… The group we took to Egypt and Jordan in early January for 3 weeks with Ya'lla, and every moment went perfectly. The greatest guides, excellent accommodation, super food, and an overwhelming amount of items included, that made our escorting the group so much easier! Congrats & Mazal tov for the superb work! An amazing experience of the world's… An amazing experience of the world's longest living history! Our guide was excellent in bringing each of the site's to life for us. Our only problem was our lost luggage by Turkish Airlines on the front end of the trip, but due to the diligence of the Cairo coordinator, it was recovered before our Nile boat trip.
