Ya'lla did not execute well We just finished a Ya'lla tour of Israel and we do not recommend using Ya'lla. The local Israeli tour operator that Ya'lla used had a different itinerary than what Ya'lla had given us. Ya'lla management was dismissive of our valid concerns about the differences and the confusion it caused to several couples on the tour. The tour had some stops that were inaccurately described and ended up being a waste of time. For example, visits to a "winery" and an "olive oil factory" ended up being stops to small retail stores so the operators could sell their merchandise. We really did not learn anything about Israel's olive oil or wine industries or production. The tour guide did not keep us on track each day; we consistently ran behind so that we got to our hotels later than expected, which impacted the time we could spend exploring cities in the evenings. We ended up with a different tour guide and driver in the middle of the tour, which broke the rhythm of the tour. Israel is a great place to explore and we recommend you do it with a better operator.

The thing we hadn't thought about… The thing we hadn't thought about beforehand was the physical abilities of our fellow travelers on the tour. We would have preferred more walking and climbing to ruins, etc. but had to stick with the group. I guess I just assumed since there is so much walking on a tour to Israel everyone would be in decent shape.

A great trip to Israel We were overall very happy with our tour of Israel. Our guide did an outstanding job of guiding a very diverse group (multiple countries, ages, and faith) of people through an incredibly complex country. We were very happy with the wide range of experiences that we were able to see in Israel. The hotels, transportation arrangements and other logistics worked very well. We are very glad we made the journey!

I traveled with Ya'lla Tours for 8 days… I traveled with Ya'lla Tours for 8 days in Israel. The experience was wonderful, the tour guide and accomodations of hotels, kibbutzim all were splendid. Our tour guide was sensitive to both Jewish and Christian members of our group and she went beyond the normal to help arrange special activities--very personal touch. Let’s Ya’lla! Outstandingly planned itinerary. Our Guide and Driver are best in their field. Jacob, our guide, had encyclopedic knowledge of history and geography of the Holy Land. Nisan, our driver, could expertly maneuver our hulking big bus forward, backward, uphill and downhill! And he kept the bus clean every day. Meals were good except that the venues were often very crowded. A couple hotels were old with sagging mattresses and staff who simply were unresponsive to requests from guests. On the whole an excellent trip. Yalla is a great choice for travel to Israel.
