The tour guides were very friendly and informative, enjoyed the fact that it was a small group with only 2 of us and guide. Accommodations were nice, it was a little cold in the hotels as there was no heat, but the hotels did provide extra blankets. The tour guide in Cairo was excellent, the guide in Luxor (and the cruise ship) was also good. The tour guide in Abu Simbel was not very good. The Egyptian people are very kind and I enjoyed visiting Egypt. The itinerary was excellent and covered all the highlights.

Ya'lla organization was good and the… Ya'lla organization was good and the tour was user-friendly. The itinerary was solid and the tour flowed nicely. Iacov, our Israeli tour guide, added a lot to the enjoyable experience. The hotels were all good and the food was abundant (though not great). The weather went from the mid-80s F. at the Dead Sea to very cold and rainy (mid-40s F.) at Jerusalem and Bethlehem. A number of our people returned home sick (including myself). I would not go to Israel again in the month of March. When combining the general fatigue with a huge temperature drop, it was a set up for sickness. The direct flight from S.F. to Tel Aviv is great.

Abominable trip service. Abominable trip service. VERIFY how trip problems will be addressed in advance. Insurance only compensates direct cost, not trip loss of days or stress. 3 days of a 10 day trip were lost due to incorrect airline ticketing. There is no 24/7 support line. No assistance was offered trying to get hotels/shuttles on a stranded in Washington, DC World Series weekend, for a 15 person group separated from a main group of another 22 already in Israel. The remaining 7 days of the trip included a superb guide and bus driver, but the trip was already ruined. To date, no refund has been offered. Hopefully this is a one off for other potential users.

The tour in Egypt was a dream come… The tour in Egypt was a dream come through. We had an amazing experience. We were met on time by our egyptologist guides, transfer guides and drivers except on one occasion. I recommend to carry a smartphone to contact Ya'lla office in Egypt in case of emergency (very useful). The itinerary was respected, few optional additions offered (all worthed). Shoppings stops, as expected, but good produces offerings, no pressure to buy. The tipping guide was helpful. Wished the Egyptians were taking Canadians dollars. I would skip the farewell lunch at the end.

Bad hotel, good hotel Guide, greeter, and drivers we’re knowledgeable and friendly. The royal Olympian hotel in Athens was overcrowded with tours with a half hour wait for breakfast. The service was not good. The hotel in Santorini the Mystique was perfect and the staff was excellent
