Incredible Experience My family and I visited Israel on the 12 day Jewish Heritage Tour. We had an amazing time at each location we visited. Our tour guide, Mali, made the trip even more special because of her love and knowledge of Israel. The planning was so easy because of Shalom's quick responses and his overall customer service. We will definitely return to visit more of Israel with another Shalom Israel tour. We highly recommend Shalom Israel Tours and Mali, our tour guide.

Excellent service. Friendly, courteous and professional. Clearly experts at what they do. Great vacation. Not some -paint-by-numbers trip; it was a carefully crafted tour that took into account our particular set of needs and variables (number of people in the party, the fact that we were traveling with children were all taken into account when planning an itinerary and offering suggestions) The whole thing was very friendly and it flowed freely without any upsets, which is ultimately what one wants when visiting a foreign country. Great tour, poor customer service As above post April 2017, I too was on the Israel tour with Jodi and as described, Our private tour was excellent, our guide was great. However, we take offense that Mr Stark would accuse us of blackmail and threaten to sue us. We missed two flights and do not arrive on the original planned flight. Mr Stark was notified withn 30 minutes of original arrival time that we were not on this flight. As contratcually bound, as part of our tour package, we were not picked up from the airport as promised. After arriving home, we asked for reimbursement for airport transfer. Mr Stark was unaccommadating and not willing to give us what was paid, nor was he willing to reimburse taxi fare. I did tell him that I would rate him negatively on Trip advisor. Speaking the truth of our experience, is in no way blackmail. We did not demand, we asked numerous times for what was just and fair. It is my right, as a consumer, to rate according to how we were treated. Oddly, he is willing to pay attorney fees to sue, yet not willing to reimburse $150 as originally agreed as part of our tour, nor a $50 paid taxi fare. Edit

Fulfilled Every Expectation Upon the recommendation by very good friends we contacted and chose Shalom Israel Tours to plan a private tour with guide for our first trip to Israel. We were two couples with some ideas of where we would like to visit and what we would like to experience . It was a pleasure to work with Shalom Stark. He was easy to communicate with and offered many suggestions and it all came together perfectly. Our guide , Yehuda was excellent; a Sabra with the most unbelievable knowledge of 4,000 years of history, and many stories to tell. Our trip was planned for June, 2014 and our itinerary covered Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, and Tel Aviv with many stops along the way. After spending this time together we miss Yehuda ! We would not hesitate to recommend Shalom Israel Tours. We had a wonderful experience !

Tour of a life time! If your going to Israel I would encourage every one to set up their tour Shalom Israel now. Booking the tour was so easy and our tour guide Eli was the best. But like Eli said, "we must thank all those men and women who gave their lives for us to be able to visit Israel in the first place". I thank them every day because my life has changed entirely. I also want to thank Eli for taking us off the beaten path at times to take us to his favorite little places to shop and eat. His sense of humor and his smile will brighten your day!
