Excellent service. Friendly, courteous and professional. Clearly experts at what they do. Great vacation. Not some -paint-by-numbers trip; it was a carefully crafted tour that took into account our particular set of needs and variables (number of people in the party, the fact that we were traveling with children were all taken into account when planning an itinerary and offering suggestions) The whole thing was very friendly and it flowed freely without any upsets, which is ultimately what one wants when visiting a foreign country. Yes and a slight no My daughter and I went on Shalom Tours My daughter and I went on Shalom Tours. The itinerary was excellent, and Shalom was very helpful in our communications before the tour. The guide had a great personality, but unfortunately, was inconsistent with issues of lateness in returning to the bus. One time, someone was late and he expressed his concern that the man was lost and went out searching for him. Another time, people got lost and were 15 minutes late getting back to bus and he yelled at them when they returned. Perhaps he is moody. Anyway, if he would have given out his cell number, as tour guides generally do, people who are lost can call him - but he never gave his number. We returned to the airport to fly home with the bus pickup Shalom arranged. Unfortunately, it was not enough time as there were long lines and we were not told that the VAT line before security does not deal with jewelry. After waiting there, we had to go through security (long line) then go to the VAT line inside for the jewelry purchases. Just made our flight. We should have been informed of this and offered an earlier pickup. I did write to him about that from home but never got a response. It was still a wonderful experience on the whole but I think the moodiness of the tour guide and the stressful airport return made a difference.

Great tour - warmly recommended Our 12 day Jewish Heritage tour with this company was a smashing success and we enjoyed every minute. Logistics were excellent and our guide Meir was the best ever. Had a fantastic tour of Israel Our family had a fantastic tour of Israel. Our guide Doron was very knowledgeable and the bus driver Atif got us all around the country safely and comfortably. I would recommend this tour to all - really get a great sense of the country and its people.

Great tour, poor customer service As above post April 2017, I too was on the Israel tour with Jodi and as described, Our private tour was excellent, our guide was great. However, we take offense that Mr Stark would accuse us of blackmail and threaten to sue us. We missed two flights and do not arrive on the original planned flight. Mr Stark was notified withn 30 minutes of original arrival time that we were not on this flight. As contratcually bound, as part of our tour package, we were not picked up from the airport as promised. After arriving home, we asked for reimbursement for airport transfer. Mr Stark was unaccommadating and not willing to give us what was paid, nor was he willing to reimburse taxi fare. I did tell him that I would rate him negatively on Trip advisor. Speaking the truth of our experience, is in no way blackmail. We did not demand, we asked numerous times for what was just and fair. It is my right, as a consumer, to rate according to how we were treated. Oddly, he is willing to pay attorney fees to sue, yet not willing to reimburse $150 as originally agreed as part of our tour, nor a $50 paid taxi fare. Edit
