GBHang your heads in shame As a present to my son I arranged a trip to Munich to watch Bayern play. Having bought tickets for the game, flights and accommodation in a suite at the holiday inn unfortunately the flights from Manchester were cancelled. Game tickets were refunded, flights refunded however the holiday inn took a payment in full although I cancelled 5 days prior to arriving. After going round the houses with IHG and receiving no callbacks as promised I was told I had booked an advanced rate. I use hotels all the time UK and abroad for business this was not shown on the option. Decision was final with no offer of credit or alternative nights. Holiday inn for a chain your size you should be ashamed. Thanking me for being an IHG member on every call however this is just words with no thoughts to your members. Never will I be using you again and will be posting across my social media.

GBNew Year’s Eve 2023 New Year’s Eve 2023. Absolutely the best we have beeb to .Pre drinks and canapés. Followed by 4 courses pre booked from a good choice menu. Plus tea/coffee and a tray of after dinner chocolates. Very accommodating with allergies ect The DJ was more than excellent . He got to know everyone before we went for dinner and therefore the dance floor was packed. Then more food at 2.00. Definitely booking for this year. A big THANK YOU to John and all the team at Wakefield junction 40 for accommodating the crowd from Roundwood Road. Look forward to seeing you again

GBHoliday Inn Fareham Silverfish avoid Holiday Inn Fareham. 15 January 2024. Everything seemed alright until I woke up for a shower and found strange bugs scurrying around in the bathroom, on the floor and in the bathtub. This hotel clearly needs fumigating and should not be renting rooms out in this state. Will never use this one again. Have not received a refund and fobbed off, despite asking for refund and getting name of night manager and hand written note too. Have photos to upload if possible here.

GBWedding rip off… This company is only getting one star because I can't give. Booked wedding reception and gave guests code for "discounted" room so they could stay over and also have a friendlycatch up the next day as we would be busy on the night. Can't think why the prices are over £200,with the exception of the week before most are less than £100. Have now given details of another hotel that is only a 5 minute taxi ride away that beats their price by over £100. If you want to have a good wedding and enjoy time with loved ones I would give this place a wide berth I have about 15 guests that are currently changing plans and staying elsewhere. Feel like this company are sabotaging our wedding with their actions

GBWe stayed in Concord HI-express We stayed in Concord, NC. We booked through an online booking agent. We did not know that there was any construction going on during our stay. I had to work online, this was an issue. When I spoke to the manager she was very flippant and said I could check out and book else where. No empathy what so ever. I would have thought she could have given me another place to work where it would be quieter and private. The breakfast was like going to your local school cafeteria. The food was not such that if you needed to not eat non dairy that it left you very little options. Making just plain eggs with an option of cheese and veggies, heating the food to a higher temperature, and replacing the old style coffee makers with the style that you can brew your own cup and add your own flavoring would be nicer. We went to breakfast and came back to our room to find in that short time period there were bugs on our beds, they were quick to have us switch our room. But there was NO monetary relief for our inconvenience. I would have thought either a refund or a certificate for future stays would have been nice. I am not sure where the bugs came from but it may have been due to the hole in the outside wall in the room. The toilet ran on its own and the fan in the bathroom was extremely loud as was the a/c unit. This made it hard to talk or sleep in the room(s). The young girl that worked the evening shift was very nice and did what she could do to help us, which was limited because the manager was not accommodating what so ever. I have booked before with HI-express and never had this lousy of an experience.
