GBHard to contact The only email I received is this one asking me to evaluate them. Not only I didn't get a confirmation after paying US$2300, it's hard to reach the company: US number is busy (huh?), Argentine number requires a reservation number (how should I have it?). It's definitely not a scam website, but if something goes wrong, you're on your own. Reservaction number could be 668512091500 (from URL history)

GBNo costumer service during… No costumer service during pandemic?!!!! When we need help they are not there to help!!!!! People can work from home!!! Airlines cancel flights and no refund because of Despegar policy!!! We all should sue despegar!!!!

GBI booked 4 tickets last year I booked 4 tickets last year, I spent $3,850, after trying to talk to Despegar more than 15 times, held in line for +55 minutes each time, I finally was able to talked to someone. I cancelled my trip and they should refund me in 6 months, has been 7 months and I did not get my money back, and its impossible talk to them. I dont know what else to do.

ECINCOMPETENT FOOLS Incompetent fools. I purchased a ticket with the special price for seniors/disabled. Ok, so upon purchase the pop up requires you to send documentation within 3 hours. (send either gov. ID (Cédula), gov. Disabled ID, or Passport if foreigner) I sent my gov. issued ID 10 minutes after purchase. The next day, a young lady called and sent an e-mail requesting documentation. I re-sent the cédula. Then, an e-mail came requesting documentation for someone other than me. I responded that this must be an error. Even later, the same young lady called, and even recognized my voice, which flustered her, and she continued to ask that I send my ID. (which I did....for the 3rd time). The next day, I received an e-mail stating that the reservation was not made due to lack of documentation. ok, I get it, Despegar. com is incompetent...I will purchase the ticket elsewhere, and never return.
