Many times I entered all the information for 4 people who only to have the airline websites time out, cancel my reservation or not be able to process my credit card or some other problem. I was ready to scream. (Really, I did scream.) Despegar made things much easier and faster and for the same price.

Worst Flight Platform Impossible to change a flight through them. Impossible to speak to someone that does not answer like a robot. They couldn't change my flight because their platform wasn't working for a whole day. It literally couldn't receive online payments at the time and they had no other way for me to pay. In the end I couldn't take my flight and even as it was their fault I couldn't make the change they never offered me anything as a compensation.

Change of Booking I would like to make a change in my flight ticket booking but I cannot reach Despegar on their Customer Service number. Can an agent from Despegar please contact me urgently as I need to make the change within the next 48 hours. I will provide the booking number once I have been contacted.

Hard to contact The only email I received is this one asking me to evaluate them. Not only I didn't get a confirmation after paying US$2300, it's hard to reach the company: US number is busy (huh?), Argentine number requires a reservation number (how should I have it?).
