Melbourne to chiang mai in…very bad experiencie Melbourne to chiang mai in despegar.com, as always, and buy everything including the scales with the Qantas airline, in my second stop, in Bangkok, they changed me to a plane of a national airline, it was a very bad experience, it looked like model aircraft, old, without a good maintenance. And for preferring Qantas pay a lot more!!!

Worst Flight Platform Impossible to change a flight through them. Impossible to speak to someone that does not answer like a robot. They couldn't change my flight because their platform wasn't working for a whole day. It literally couldn't receive online payments at the time and they had no other way for me to pay. In the end I couldn't take my flight and even as it was their fault I couldn't make the change they never offered me anything as a compensation.

A breeze It was so nice to be able to use this service. I tried making airline flights directly with South American airline companies and it was the most frustrating experience. Many times I entered all the information for 4 people who only to have the airline websites time out, cancel my reservation or not be able to process my credit card or some other problem. I was ready to scream. (Really, I did scream.) Despegar made things much easier and faster and for the same price.

Worst Costumer service ever Worst Costumer service ever , I bought a plain ticket , they weren't able to make the reservation confirmation , I called them for that issue ,and I receive the same answers, without resolving the problem , and and No refund at all .I wouldn't recommend Despegar to no one else

Hard to contact The only email I received is this one asking me to evaluate them. Not only I didn't get a confirmation after paying US$2300, it's hard to reach the company: US number is busy (huh?), Argentine number requires a reservation number (how should I have it?). It's definitely not a scam website, but if something goes wrong, you're on your own. Reservaction number could be 668512091500 (from URL history)
