Sleepless in Montreal-Non-stop elevator sound day and night We stayed at the Best Western Montreal Hotel Europa in room 608 which was extremely noisy due to the elevators being right behind the wall. All day and night there was a loud humming sound. We complained the very first day and the person at the reception mentioned there were no other rooms available and they would apply a 10% discount for our stay there. We agreed and got some ear plugs. While checking out we saw that the 10% discount was only added to 1 days instead of 2 days. We we asked Phelris at the reception he was very rude and said he wont apply the discount to both days. We asked for the CAA discount which we forget to include while making the reservation and he said the discount is already part of the cost. We said we didnt provide the CAA information so how come it is part of the rate and he said that is how it is. What a rude person. We have stayed at Best Western in the past and this was a terrible and sleepless experience. Very upset about this whole stay.

Best at What? Best Western Clemson SC area. Room so contaminated opened windows, slept on short sofa. Staff could care less. Bed so painful, could not use. Best Western Provo Utah--- contaminants so thick on floor threw out my shoes. Asbestos? I was not feeling well with injured eye, horrible contamination.

I stayed at the Best Western in…Nashville, Tennessee. I stayed at the Best Western in Nashville, Tennessee March 3rd and 4th. Everything was OK until the bathroom. The toilet was very low, so low that I struggled to get up. Now, a high proportion of travelers are older, retired folks. So, a lower than normal toilet seemed crazy! In addition, on a low toilet, certain male parts get dunked, in toilet water full of urine and fecal matter! I approached the desk clerk and described the problem. He said he was aware of the problem, that many guests have complained. He added that the low toilets came with the building and they would be changed with the next renovation. A customer hygiene problem, known from the time the building was built, not to be addressed until the next renovation, seems like Best Western doesn’t care much about customer satisfaction.

Offered £15 refund. Best western uninterested as individual hotels hold a franchise so they say they have no jurisdiction. Happy to provide photographic evidence Unfortunately best western don’t care, they abdicate any responsibility stating they have no control over individual hotels, why do they attach their name to these appalling places.

Management of Rewards Points Sucks Liked: Best Western Plus motels rooms and breakfast Disliked: Best Western Rewards Program management. It is difficult to check status and rewards points totals are not given. I realize they have MBA's and possibly PhD's trying to minimize the points. I cannot see when points expire, or my total points. I just had a good experience with IHG Group (Hilton) rewards program and will favor them in the future. Staybridge Suites and Hotels.com is earning my business. I recently got 2 free nights! I quit using Marriott because they seemed to have closed most restaurants and rewards points policies are too one-sided.
