Deteriorating Chico's used to have chic takes on current styles and well-crafted clothes. The patterns used to match across seams, the patterns used to extend to the back of the items, the materials were of good quality. There used to be color-matched or coordinated separates that would make an outfit that were all available for sale at the same time. Color names were dependable to be the same color across pieces. That has deteriorated significantly. Same prices, but now cheap fabrics, especially see-through whites, coordinating pieces are not available at the same time. Patterns are not matched. Stitching is sometimes pulled instead of flat. Chico's clothing used to be worth the higher price for the tailoring and quality. Not any more.

Terrible experience last December item ordered it stunk like it had come out of a bin and was nothing like the item I had ordered cheap and very nasty and unable to contact them or query ended up giving it to the bank to deal with

Top Bleached From Deodorant I purchased a top at the Chico's Tanger Outlet in DE in March and just wore it for the first time. The material was bleached from my deodorant (Secret). I called Chico's to see what could be done to remedy the situation, and they said they could only send me a new one but that I would have to pay since it was not a defect with the material. Are you kidding me? I've never worn another article of clothing that has reacted with my deodorant.

What Happened to Chico's? Have been a big fan of Chico's for a while but the quality of their products is in steap decline. The workmanship is flawed and the materials are of poor quality and unfortunately their prices are no bargain. In the past, haven't minded paying a little more for the selection (for more mature women) and the quality but now I believe that I have purchased my last items from Chico's.

Absolute rags Recently ordered 4 t shirts online based on previous experience with quality goods. They were the cheapest thinnest garments I ever saw. Poorly sewn, awful. I returned them (at my cost!) and am still waiting for the refund. Chico's is definitely finished, these are rags that no one would be seen dead in. I wonder if this will be posted.
