GBI was a satisfied HGV Max owner that… I was a satisfied HGV Max owner that went to a Diamond (which is owned by HGV) in Nov 2023, and got the sales pitch, bought into Diamond also and was told I could not get on their web site until after Jan 1, Could not get into it until Jan 15 and when I did it would not allow me to do anything. Called their 800 number and got HGV so they transferred me to Diamond claiming they can't do stuff on Diamond side. Phone conversation with the person on Diamond side was bad as he was rude and unwilling to help me. They have nice resorts but web site and service on phone is bad. Asked for supervisor to call back so will see what happens next.

GBNo empathy and very pathetic practice Purchased Dec 16th 2023, Fiancé passed away Jan 22 2024. These guys have harassed me timelessly. I went from a 2 household income to 1. The HOA was quoted at 972, but when the invoice came it was doubled. I called and was told it was a estimate. I can see an estimate being 20 to 30 dollars more, but not double. the interest is more than the cost. Run and run fast. don't even sign up for the discount weekend getaways. I blame Hilton primary. When you get a Amex card, you start getting the scams along with it. My fiancé was so sick during the presentation and they still hassled us to buy. 1 hour turned into 5. Now after my loss, they are calling asking for my fiancé even after I told them he passed away and submitted a death certificate. Shameful.

GBPresentation was high pressure We stayed at the Polo Towers in Vegas. The presentation was on 09/25/21. There was one representative who treated us in a condescending and disrespectful manner. He basically told us that we should buy into the plan because we made time to come to Vegas. He didn’t know or want to listen to our situation back at home. The front desk and other staff members.

GBKeep away from Hilton/Diamond Absolutely nothing available for members to book after paying their fees which go up by 10% each year. Most availability is kept for Hilton to rent especially summer season which makes it impossible for members to book anything. No wonder members are wanting to leave.

GBWhen Hilton Grand Vacations acquired Diamond Resorts When Hilton Grand Vacations acquired Diamond in 2021, we were told that our Diamond Points would be rolled over into Hilton Points. The transition would take about 1 year, and we were required to continue to pay all loans & maintenance fees to Diamond. We were told this for months. It got to the middle of 2022 and still nothing was done. Many times, we were told it shouldn't be much longer. Among the reasons that it was taking so long is that the title company Diamond used was not one that Hilton worked with. Then we were told that if we bought into Hilton/HGVC it would make the transition easier. We would have to buy actual HGVC points, but we thought if it made the transition quicker that would be great. So, in December 2022 we bought Hilton/HGVC points. So now we had another loan but to Hilton. Later we were told things should be done by March 2023, and then June, and then September or October. During the wait time, they told us many times that the "equity" we had already paid to Diamond would be applied to our account and would be more than enough to pay off the Diamond and HGVC loans and possibly the credit cards we opened to cover the downpayments for these purchases. It is the beginning of 2024 and none of these promises of equity, ownership transitioning to HGVC points, or improved access to reservations has come to fruition. We are sick and tired of the lies, manipulation, and fraudulent sales practices. We cannot wait any longer while losing our savings. Where are we now? In Collections! Because we were lied to and manipulated into thinking that this process was to minimize risk and lower costs. This has been a financial hardship, and we demand to be release immediately.
