Poor Value for Money The on board tour guides are hugely inconsistent. Some barely say anything although, when approaching a stop they do talk for a minute or two about how they work for low wages and value tips etc!

Don't waste your money! Don't waste your money!! Paid $59 for a 48 hr ticket at 2:30pm on October 8th. Boarded the bus a few minutes later, bus driver announces bus route ends early (in 30 minutes) due to Jewish holiday and there will be no bus the next day, also Jewish holiday. My ticket was therefore useless. When I asked for a refund they declined because I 'used' the 48 hour ticket for 20 minutes! This is not a serious business, but because they cater to tourists from out of town they can get away with this lack of professionalism. Don't waste your money!

messed up the whole day! After hopping off the bus to visit Lincoln Square we tried to hop on again at the same bus station, but that did not work: Several buses from the same line passed us without stopping, several had no capacity to get on. A large crowd of people wanting to hop on, had had shaped at the bus station and begann to become frustrated with the situation. It took us several hours to get on a bus but we had to sit downstairs inside of the bus, in the heat, with no view of the city at all. We were told we could move upstairs as soon others would leave but that did not happen, so we went around central park, through Harlem without actually getting a view. Also the staff was rude. It messed up the whole day, I had spent a lot of money on those tickets and my sisters had come a long way to spend a weekend in New York. Obviously NYsightseeing is selling too many bus tickets for too few buses in order to accommodate all costumers appropriately. I would not recommend it. For $168 we could have taken a lot of cabs!

Long wait for buses and poor commentary from guide Having used City Sightseeing in Glasgow, London, Barcelona, Berlin, Munich and Paris we were really looking forward to the NYC tour; sadly we were disappointed. We had two day hop on and off tickets. Day 1 was great we headed downtown with interesting commentary and great views. Day 2 though was a whole different story - we waited over an hour and twenty minutes for an uptown bus tour! When it finally arrived the commentator was obviously not interested and only really spoke when asked direct questions by passengers. Such a disappointment.

It is bad buy by internet We bought by internet and they did not send us the ticket. We arrived at the stop bus and lost one hour and taxi going to the office, because the ticket. In the office a one hundred file waiting.. It was horrible. Why they do not send the tickets by internet?
