GBDisappointment with Ireland itinerary 1. In retrospect, disappointment in flight schedule from BNA to PHl. Delay in Nashville flight was responsible for our luggage not arriving on our Philly flight to Shannon. Based on short turnaround time from from Nashville to Philly, we nearly missed Philly to Shannon flight. 2. Philly to Shannon flight arrived on May 8th not May 7th. Due to this detail, our Ireland schedule/itinerary was, by our account, incorrect for the entire week (we agreed to 6 nights, yet itininery stated that we would leave on 7th &arrive on 7th - not 8th). Entire itinery had our group arrive a day early and leave a day early. This caused significant anxiety as we arrived at Adare Manor - Manor staff, perhaps with assistance of Sceptre worked to make our stay a wonderful experience. 3. Return flight schedule reflected departure on 18th which was correct, but due to confusion of arrival date, (7th vs 8th), the rest of the itinerary was incorrect. NOTE: I acknowledge receipt of incorrect itinerary, but did not closely review prior to departure .

GBI will never use Sceptre again We used a Sceptre package 2 times in the past in Ireland, where the pricing was great, the b & bs did not have to be pre-booked, and we did not get a hard-sell to upgrade our car. This time we had to pre-book, 1 month in advance of the trip, which meant we had to have a set itinerary, which we did not want to have. This was not made clear in the booking information. So several months after we had bought the air,car and b&b package, we learned that we had to pre-book; This information was poorly communicated and untimely. When we tried to pre- book b&bs, Sceptre essentially had a bait and switch: they had very few if any b&b offerings at the our price point, BUT we could pay more per day to get a higher grade b&b, that was available and had more offerings. There is something misleading about offering a b&b package, that has to be booked 30 days in advance, and this information is not conveyed to the purchaser. GBOverall Experience In my opinion this was not a full service travel agency. They booked the air, car & hotel. When the holiday was approaching we had a few snags and called a few times for questions and they were completely unhelpful. Out of the 4 hotels we stayed one we suggested and asked for them to book, this one was the best hotel. The other 3 they suggested and of those only 1 was great, the other 2 were definitely not top of the line which we requested. I would not use this agency for future travel. I would do better booking on my own

GBNotifications! We have always had a great experience with Sceptre during four trips to Ireland. On our return trip back to the states, we were scheduled on an 8:30 flight, which meant we had to get up at 3:00 am to leave and get to airport, turn in the rented car and check in three hours before our flight. Luckily one of our party had an app with all flight info and it told him our flight was leaving at 12:00pm. (Who wants to get up at 3:00 am if they don’t have to?) when we checked with Sceptre, we were told the flight was leaving at 8:00 am. We had to inform them of the difference in departure times.....when they checked, they told us we were right. Sceptre should have notified us, not the other way around!

GBOur confirmation said Adare manor would … Our confirmation said Adare manor would be closed the entire 2016 year. We just got back and it's still closed. Dan Dooley did not have a van for us. We booked 7 months in advanced and no van ??? We waited over a hour then we insisted on a ride to Adare. Needless to say we had no van until later that day. Prior to our trip we called Sceptre several times with questions and left messages and voicemails for the manager and no one ever returned our calls.
