GBOversold flight - dreadful communication, no compensation We were scheduled to fly to Qatar via Istanbul. Due to Pegasus’s shameless profiteering they had oversold the flight by 9 seats. My wife and I were unlucky and told we could not fly meaning we also missed our connection. We were put on a later flight to Istanbul and had a 24 hour stop over before our revised connection (compared to a c.3 hour stop on our original flight). At Stansted we were told we would be given accommodation at the other end given the overnight delay. Upon landing in Istanbul past 11pm we found the Pegasus hotel desk closed and the ticketing staff refused to help and so we were forced to find and pay out for a hotel ourselves. The following day we were also not provided with any support or meal tokens for use in the airport. This happened 3 weeks ago and we are yet to hear from Pegasus about the compensation we are owed as per their own terms and conditions in this scenario. In summary: 1. Pegasus prevented us from taking our 2 scheduled flights due to overselling flights 2. Pegasus failed to provide us substitute accommodation even though the replacement flights caused us to be delayed by 24 hours and we were stranded in a foreign city overnight 3. Pegasus have failed to provide the owed compensation and reimbursement for incurred costs 4. Pegasus have not even had the decency to be in touch about the matter or to apologise despite us providing all of the required receipts and evidence alongside the claim

CAWorst Airline On our international flight we are allowed 23kg per checked in luggage, but pegasus only allows 20kg per luggage. They wanted us to pay for the extra 3kg. Worst airline we ever dealt with and not international travelers friendly.

NOI wouldnt even give them 1 star. I wouldn't even give them one star. First of all, not a single worker at Istanbul International Airport speaks English! I paid for extra luggage, and none of it was accepted at the security checkpoint—they told me to proceed to the next point. The staff at the next point questioned why the first checkpoint hadn't taken my bags. I was sent back and forth, and with 40 minutes before takeoff, no one wanted to take responsibility. I called Pegasus support, and they outright lied to me, claiming "there was a reason for it," as if my luggage violated some rules. I argued that if that were the case, security would have confiscated it. That's when they told me to "just leave your luggage and report it missing," before hanging up on me. The worst experience I've had is with the Turkish airport staff. I will never vacation in Turkey again. In desperation, I called a friend who speaks Turkish and asked him to pretend to be Pegasus customer support. I put him on speaker, and he instructed them to take my luggage because it was their fault. Eventually, the boarding staff complied. This was my only recourse after I had paid for luggage weighing 2x 20kg and 3x 12kg.

AUPEGArbage airlines This airline presents itself as a budget option but charges more than traditional airlines. They literally force the crew to beg for money for everything, which is embarrassing. They also cancel carry-on luggage allowances and charge everyone for it. Ultimately, you end up paying the same or more for a subpar flight experience. It’s disgraceful company for Turkey.
