Oversold flight - dreadful communication, no compensation We were scheduled to fly to Qatar via Istanbul. Due to Pegasus’s shameless profiteering they had oversold the flight by 9 seats. My wife and I were unlucky and told we could not fly meaning we also missed our connection. We were put on a later flight to Istanbul and had a 24 hour stop over before our revised connection (compared to a c.3 hour stop on our original flight). At Stansted we were told we would be given accommodation at the other end given the overnight delay. Upon landing in Istanbul past 11pm we found the Pegasus hotel desk closed and the ticketing staff refused to help and so we were forced to find and pay out for a hotel ourselves. The following day we were also not provided with any support or meal tokens for use in the airport. This happened 3 weeks ago and we are yet to hear from Pegasus about the compensation we are owed as per their own terms and conditions in this scenario. In summary: 1. Pegasus prevented us from taking our 2 scheduled flights due to overselling flights 2. Pegasus failed to provide us substitute accommodation even though the replacement flights caused us to be delayed by 24 hours and we were stranded in a foreign city overnight 3. Pegasus have failed to provide the owed compensation and reimbursement for incurred costs 4. Pegasus have not even had the decency to be in touch about the matter or to apologise despite us providing all of the required receipts and evidence alongside the claim

PEGArbage airlines This airline presents itself as a budget option but charges more than traditional airlines. They literally force the crew to beg for money for everything, which is embarrassing. They also cancel carry-on luggage allowances and charge everyone for it. Ultimately, you end up paying the same or more for a subpar flight experience. It’s disgraceful company for Turkey.

Amateurs I have a job where I often have to fly with a lot of heavy gear. That's usually a relatively uncomplicated experience. I show up with my bags, I pay for excess luggage and the extra weight, and I'm off to the odd-size counter. Easy. But not with Pegasus Airlines. I showed up with a hard case that weighed 37 kg and was told that they couldn't accommodate bags heavier than 33 kg. I told the man at the counter that I was, of course, willing to pay for the extra weight, but that wasn't an option. After splitting the contents of my case apart, I got the excess kilos crammed into my second bag. I have never experienced this with any other airline I have ever had the fortune to travel with. Besides this, the guy at the counter couldn't offer any assistance, and his supervisor was one of the rudest employees I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. I will never set foot on a Pegasus plane again. Amateurish operation.

World worst airline ( don’t travel with… World worst airline ( don’t travel with them ) I booked ticket for a friend paid £513.80 I did mistake in booking about his name My friend for 3 names His first name is Muhammad Amir I did mistake I put Muhammad as first name and Amir last name And missed his last name Date of birth was right in booking I realised when I set ticket to my friend and he showed me this mistake 10 Days was remaining fly Airline denied to correct name And denying to give refund as well Our all money seems to be wasted That’s absolutely disgusting And are thief

Better than corendon but not by much Better than corendon but not by much. Flew home from AYT to MAN. After corendon loosing my partners case we only had one case between us. We had already paid for 20kg of hold luggage each. As my partner had to buy clothes while we were in turkey he had to put them in my case which them put my case to 22kg. When “our” case was weighed the woman at the check in desk was rude about it. We tried to explain the situation but she just pretended she didn’t understand English all of a sudden and we were made to pay £22 for 2kg even though we had collectively booked 40kg. While I understand this is their policy (which is all the woman kept saying) after all that we had been through abit of sympathy or understanding wouldn’t have gone a miss! We will be claiming this back through Corendon as they caused the extra charge but still it’s stress that quite frankly we didn’t need after the week we have had!
