Amateurs I have a job where I often have to fly with a lot of heavy gear. That's usually a relatively uncomplicated experience. I show up with my bags, I pay for excess luggage and the extra weight, and I'm off to the odd-size counter. Easy. But not with Pegasus Airlines. I showed up with a hard case that weighed 37 kg and was told that they couldn't accommodate bags heavier than 33 kg. I told the man at the counter that I was, of course, willing to pay for the extra weight, but that wasn't an option. After splitting the contents of my case apart, I got the excess kilos crammed into my second bag. I have never experienced this with any other airline I have ever had the fortune to travel with.
