Scam! Beware! Same exact issue as this person: BRUCE HOLLAND ROGERS 2 reviews US Rated 1 out of 5 stars May 22, 2023 Well-designed scam. Run away! I'm writing this review while my travel companion is in the next room, trying to end the nightmare of having accidentally contacted TripChef to make some changes to her existing itinerary. Searching for a link to Delta, she followed a link that turned out to be TripChef, but which she thought was Delta. She didn't know that she wasn't talking to Delta as the agent gave her incorrect information about available flights and ultimately re-booked her on a flight that was $500 more than her original reservation, saying that the difference was to different cost of this other flight. Plausible. But this turned out to be a lie. When she began to have doubts after concluding the call because a second agent had come on the line to verify her card details, which seemed weird, she contacted Delta. The flight information my friend had been given by TripChef was wrong. The change my friend wanted was available at no charge. The $500 turned out to be a non-refundable agency fee from TripChef, a detail that not only hadn't been revealed by TripChef, but had been covered up with the lie that the higher total was due to the higher fare for the changed flight. Now my friend is getting a scammy run-around to try to prevent her from cancelling within 24 hours, saying she must speak with her original agent to cancel. This company appears to be getting link placement that allows them to trick people into contacting TripChef instead of the airline. TripChef manipulated and scammed my travel companion. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Beware:Fraudulent service Beware:Fraudulent service. Do not use. Similar to other reviewers I misdialed (my error) and spent a long time on the phone with who I thought was United. After being asked for, and giving out, too much personal info - I hung up. Cancelled my credit card.

Criminally deceptive scam Very deceptive. Got connected to them accidentally through Google when my passport didn’t match my boarding pass. Could have just gone in and fixed it at the airport but these guys took my reservation number and looked up the itinerary and said I needed to pay $750 down to $650 down to $550 to change an international same day flight. Called the airline directly and said they would never charge for that change. Called to get a refund and they said they already changed it and would give me a discount of $300. Told them they were criminals and they started a refund we shall see.
