This is a big no This is a big no! We flew with them to Thailand. 10hr flight and space in seat like in ryanair. Today I have flight back. Yesterday I've made sure we seat at the window and aisle. Today I've checked in to discover I do not have those seats!!! I seat in the middle!!! Joke, joke. Never again. Emirates or Qatar are much better and they do same routes. For sure have more space too. Before booking imagine seating in ryanair for your long flight as that's exactly turkish airline.

I'll never fly Turkish Airlines again I'll never fly Turkish Airlines again. I'm giving them two stars because some of their airport staff and flight crew are lovely and competent. Following are some of my reasons: -For the 14 hours before my flight, their customer support was unresponsive. I finally got through, and the representative assured me that my flight had _not_ been cancelled. At the airport, it turned out that the flight _had_ been cancelled. A Turkish Air employee had the nerve to then say I should have provided a phone number in order for them to notify me. I HAD provided a phone number and received no calls or texts from Turkish Air. -Due to the consequences of the cancelled flight, a Turkish Air employee advised me to submit my receipts in order to get reimbursed. I followed their procedures obediently and never received my money back. Responses took weeks, and employees were barely literate in English. After several months of resubmitting my request, I gave up. One possible explanation was that the receipts didn't include some of the impossible details Turkish Air required them to include -- details that receipts don't typically include. I wouldn't know, however, because the representatives never explained why my requests were rejected. -On my flight, the pocket of the seat in front of me was stuffed full of trash. Classy.

Worst airline experience I could ever imagine Worst airline experience I could ever imagine. My father died in February and least of all I wanted to deal with the flight and airline issues. I booked flight in January for March and when my father got worse I exchanged the flight online for 4 passengers to February. This is when all the whole worsest service experience in my life started. This was a nightmare for everyone in my family as Turkish Airlines DELETED my flight from the system and didn’t refund the money also didn’t notify me about the cancellation and the reason. Looked like an error. However the money was paid. I called the airline to ask why I can’t check my flight status online ? And they said your flight is deleted, submit a ticket to customer support and we will get back to you. To make it shorter they got back to me AFTER I returned back from funeral. I called about 50+ times in order to resolve THEIR mistake. When I finally got my ticket after paying another 550$ for exchange, they canceled my husband and daughters flight 48 hours before the departure and again they don’t know why and asking to submit the ticket online. Each time I called their representatives had different excuses: either their system is down or their ticketing will get back to me or they were just transferring me to Chinese line without request, I don’t speak Chinese. I had sleepless nights as my flight was canceled and airline was not resolving the issue but by dads funeral was in few days. They don’t have any support for those whose flight is within 24-48 hours or less. They just advise to submit a ticket on their website a some mysterious team will get back to you within 7 days. Even if your flight is tomorrow. So I will never ever recommend to anyone to deal with Turkish Airline if you don’t want a stress and headache. My sister had the same worst experience with this airline in regards to buying a ticket for her dog for a flight. I will not recommend and will spread my story and my relatives story to everyone who would ask me about this airline I also want to mentioned that I paid $300+ for seat with bassinet and called to add my husband and child to pay for their seats with me. I was told it is IMPOSSIBLE and I need to buy the seats at check in. At check in they said THERE ARE NO available seats near me so I would have to fly 13 hours alone with a baby in lap. In a lap as they had turbulence all the way to my destination and I couldn’t put baby in the bassinet, so the money for the seats were just waisted. So I asked them to give us some random seats but together on the way back due to this nonsense. Also the airline COULDNT add my infant to the reservation. They said I will have to add and pay in the airport before departure. The amount of stress I got with this airline is immense. NO to Turkish airlines forever!!!

Avoid - Avoid - horrendous and dishonest customer service Avoid - horrendous and dishonest customer service. Before booking my flights, a Turkish Airlines customer service representative provided crucial information that was incorrect. Based on the information we were provided, we booked flights worth £1300 that aren't suitable. I've contacted their customer service multiple times via phone and email in an attempt to resolve this situation and they've been useless, seemingly incapable of understanding the situation and replying with stock responses that show they haven't read or understood my emails. I've provided a straightforward solution for them to resolve this situation many times now but they have never addressed this directly. Turkish Airlines certainly have some cheap connecting flights but with such poor and misleading customer service you have to ask yourself if it's worth it? My advice is that it isn't - book with a reuptable airline that will provide accurate and honest information prior to commiting to expensive and non-refundable flights.

Don't waste your money with this… Don't waste your money with this Airline! I have now had two consecutive trips from Riyadh to Milan Bergamo (via Turkey) cancelled at short notice. I will NEVER waste my money with this company again. On both occasions (9th Feb and then 5th April 2024) I have had to spend significant amounts of money to fly with other airlines at the last minute. The only option for compensation is a refund of the original ticket and if you ate something in the airport this might be covered. I have spent literally hours on the phone to their customer services and inputting evidence of my out of pocket expenses caused by Turkish Airlines "Operational difficulties" onto their web platform - only to be told time and again by the same standard email response that my claim cannot be refunded. @Turkish Airlines. DONT OFFER FLIGHTS YOU CANNOT RUN! SIMPLE. Utterly useless company and awful customer service.
