Terrible Experience Stay far away! I cannot believe hotels.com is still in business based on their offering dangerous housing accommodations, along with nonexistent customer service. We booked a week stay via Hotels.com, and when we arrived, we found dirty sheets with pubic hair, stains and other mysterious debris. Suddenly there was an intense smell of sewage from outside. When I went to close the widow, I noticed the window is not even attached to the wall and cannot be closed. There is no smoke detector. There is no lock to the outside door. The hotel manager said he could only provide clean sheets by the next day at noon, so we were forced to pay for another hotel out of pocket. The sheets never came, and he never replied again. When we left and requested a refund, Hotels.com said they would only refund us with the hotel's approval, and that they couldn't even reach the hotel manager. There is no accountability, concern for our safety, or attempt to find us a solution. In the end they offered us a $50 credit on a one-week stay. What an awful experience.

Gangster pimps. Don't ever use Hotels.com!! They allow fraudsters (Gordy Apartments @ 52 Chamberlayne Ave) to face a property on their site who take your money and Don't allow you access to accommodation. There is no recourse after this. You will never see your money again. And the fraudsters are still allowed to be on their site. We were not the only victim of this fraud.

Inaccurate reservation system I tried to make a reservation but did not receive a confirmation email. When I looked on the website, I also did not find the reservation. So I made an additional reservation. I later discovered they had charged me for both stays. I asked them to refund the stay but they refused, saying the hotel itself would not. It was not the hotels fault, it was the site's fault. I spent hours on the chat bot phone, and email and they will not resolve this.

Unhelpful! Booked a one night stay nearby an airport for a long layover flight connection I have coming up, trying to keep it as cheap as possible being only a few hours. I mistakenly entered the wrong check in date, and the transaction went through before I was able to close the page. I immediately flagged to customer service, and the representative pretended to try help by calling the hotel, which have no say on this matters when booked though third party, and then suggested a paid the full price again to make a new booking. while i understand this was my fault, I'm sure they could have been more decent and actually helped, considering the issue was raised 2 minutes within making the booking. will never use again!!! should have read the reviews before

If u looking for faulty towers…… it’s here 😁 If u looking for faulty towers, this is the place to use!! 👎🏿 booked a 2 week stay at a hotel, it turn out to be a holiday hostel!! 😭 , wait there is more to come!! Hot water 💦 lasted 5 mins , then it turned cold 🥶, the shower unit was leaking, panels was rotten and fallen away, electric plugs was not safe to use (had warning signs on it) air con was broken, strong musk smell in the room and windows was not sound proof, what I got out of this? Nothing after escalating with customer services, totally rubbish operator, would I use them again??? Yeah after I’ve done my homework on their properties listed on their site and base it on reviews from 3rd party companies (not on their site) I know u be asking why?? The simple answer there are not many other operators left to compete unfortunately 😭
