GBUnhelpful! Booked a one night stay nearby an airport for a long layover flight connection I have coming up, trying to keep it as cheap as possible being only a few hours. I mistakenly entered the wrong check in date, and the transaction went through before I was able to close the page. I immediately flagged to customer service, and the representative pretended to try help by calling the hotel, which have no say on this matters when booked though third party, and then suggested a paid the full price again to make a new booking. while i understand this was my fault, I'm sure they could have been more decent and actually helped, considering the issue was raised 2 minutes within making the booking. will never use again!!! should have read the reviews before

BGThe most terrible customer service The most terrible customer service, not helpful at all. I'm a customer since 2013, dozens bookings and would never use them again. Booked the hotel, but due to the flight delay arrived only 4 o'clock morning time. I've contacted the hotel in advance and been told there will be no one at the reception after midnight, but they will text me the instruction and nothing, no instruction how to get in, where to get a key. Contacted the customer service several times, and nothing no apologies, no help no full refund from hotel.com Avoid the hotel.com and their main website Expedia

GBOh my goodness this company STINKS Oh my goodness this company STINKS! What on earth has happened to them. When I first started using them approx 10 years ago Hotels.com were great and I always received a fantastic service and I was easily able to speak to a human with any queries. I was unable to get any sensible communication from their automated, idiotic, robot chat bot. So literally as I am tying this, I have been holding on a call to Hotel.com for over an hour and half trying to get compensation for an awful let down. They have cut me off twice and once I got through I have been tossed around from department to department and put on hold and made to listen to some crazy Spanish, guitar manic flamenco music which makes my whole head vibrate. My issue relates to when I recently travelled with my family to a very remote village in Wales and on arrival discovered the hotel we had booked had closed down. There was nowhere else to stay at such short notice so we had only one option and that was to turn around and drive back home through the night (a total of 10 hours driving in one day all stuffed in a mini - not my idea of a relaxing weekend break). I can never trust them again! The terrible after care customer service just adds insult to injury! However, I did finally get compensation so don’t give up if you find yourself in a similar situation. Note to the Hotels.com management - “sort yourselves out and demonstrate better consideration of your customers”

GBBooked a stay on their site Booked a stay on their site, price said pay now price or pay at hotel, but when paying it was more, twice I contacted customer services and all they can say is ‘it’s an average price’ so fluctuates, do you want to cancel and book again. Absolutely rubbish. Who runs this company 🤷♀️
