GBWas better in the past I was better in the past. No more welcome packages of significance received. There is a fee to utilize credit card payment option. It has lost the customer service high standard that Eddie and Denise established at its beginning.

GBPoor customer service and follow-up We rented a house this past weekend and it was not very clean. Also, the heat stopped working in part of the house. We reported the heat immediately because it was a priority. Carolla Classic Vacations said an HVAC vendor would be out that day, but no one ever came. We called and the Service Manager stated the work order was submitted to HVAC vendor electronically but admitted they do not follow up to see if vendor received work order or addressed the issue. We spent two out of three nights with no heat in part of the house. We also informed the Service Manager of the uncleanliness. She asked me to text her photos. I sent her many and she said she would get back to us on the issue. It's been two days and haven't heard from anyone. I spent many years in real estate management and, in my opinion, this would not be a company that I'd allow to manage my home/investment. From a customer service standpoint, they would likely avoid negative reviews by being responsive to customers and following up when they say they will. Also, the roof looks like it had been recently re-shingled and we found more than 20 nails on and around the driveway. There were also shingles with nails laying around the property. We shouldn't spend part of a long weekend cleaning up so the premises are safe and santitized.

GBCOVID Cancel We booked a house in January 2020 for a wedding which was to take place in May, 2020. This of course was before the outbreak of COVID 19. We placed the customary deposit on the rental and did not purchase the insurance. Access to the area where the house was located was reopened the same week we had booked. We requested a refund due to the circumstances - COVID, seniors, quarantine requirements, etc. Not to mention the short notice of the availabilty. I think due to the unusual circumstances, a refund of our deposit would have been reasonable.

GBPoor customer service We watched cleaning people go in an out all day until 4pm and when we were aloud in the house it was filthy. Floors were not swept, carpets were not vacuumed. Food crumbs everywhere. Dust everywhere. Cleaning lady was very rude. After numerous phone calls while we were there and even several months after we got home we were offered a whopping $100 off our next stay. We rent $9,000.00 homes. Thanks but no thanks. We will rent from Twiddy!

GBWould NOT book with them-unprofessional We booked one of their vacation rental homes through an external booking site, provided payment information for the rental and signed all documents for the rental. We were contacted several weeks later and told payment was due. We informed them that payment information was given to the external booking site upon renting the property. One of their agents admitted she knew nothing about how this worked and would call us back if they needed additional payment information. A week later, we received a voicemail stating our rental was canceled for non payment. There was no opportunity to make a payment or attempt to reach us as promised previously prior to canceling our booking. We attempted to reach out to them to correct this mistake, however they had already released the property for rebooking and it was rented to another family. The staff at Corolla Vacations took no responsibility for what had happened and offered no resolution. This was not handled professionally, and we highly recommend looking elsewhere when booking a vacation.
