Disappointing Wanted to take a trip to visit the British Sector D-day sites, but no joy, despite the efforts and helpfulness of Elodie ( thank you ). Opted instead for a trip to Mont St Michel. Spectacular place, but extremely commercialised. Disappointing tour guide though, as English expression was limited. Neither lunch nor entrance to the monastery was included, so it worked out a quite pricey experience.

Enjoying excellence in the Alsace Everything about our Alsace Full-Day Tour was excellent ! The weather on June 11th was perfect. Our guide, Brigitte, was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. The 4 vignerons whose wineries we visited were justly proud of the delectable wines that they presented for tasting with detailed explanations of the reasons for the differences between their products. The natural scenery and the very attractive, well-maintained traditional villages were a delight to the eye. My only regret was that I hadn't booked to stay longer, ... but duty called.

On their advice, we put together the most perfect itinerary for our six-day stay in Paris. Not as well as I hoped Normandy is amazing. Our only problem was that the other people were Canadian so they spoke French and since our guide as French, he decided to pretty much stick with that language. They also spoke English so the French was more for the guide than for us. He was supposed to be an English speaking guide. His knowledge of the area was okay but the other man on the trip and I were better at explaining what happened on each beach. However, I wanted to get to Normandy and made it so that was the great part.

Great way to see the French Riviera in a Day. This is the tour you want to take on day one of your arrival to figure out which part of cote d'azur you want to return to. It's a great way to orient yourself. Our guide wasn't quite as knowledgeble on certain historical issues and the SUV was severely uncomfortable, but all in all, it was a pretty good tour. It's basically a guided van around the coast.
