GBSCAMMERS Thought I made reservations on Sun Country but unintentionally had used fatebooth.com. After I thought I had made reservations I received email from “Patricia” farebooth.com who asked me to call her because there was a problem with my reservations and was then told return fight was sold out so would have to take different fight on Delta at very inconvenient time or pay more. She used my credit card information despite checking on Sun Country and finding that return flight WAS NOT sold out telling her that the return flight on Sun Country WAS NOT sold out and had been lied to and did NOT want tickets. Credit card company refused to cancel Pending payment until AFTER THE PAYMENT WAS MADE. Now I am hassled trying to PROVE that this was a scam based on fact that the premise of having to change flight was based on a lie and I am out over 500 bucks.

GBI could have purchased the same exact… I could have purchased the same exact ticket for about $200 less, the lady made it sound was only ticket left and had to upgrade the ticket, she also told me that the later flight was same price. I thought I was making reservation through United Airlines and was travel agency instead but listed under United, make sure you enter United .com or you could end up with them. I will never use them again and was scam. with pressure sales saying was last ticket available. Make sure you pass this information on what a scam they run.

GBI had purchase a ticket flight leaving… I had purchase a ticket flight leaving in April, and canceled 15 minutes later. I was charged taxes of $80, and they try to claim its Spirits Airline policy which is a lie. The clerk was quite nasty and refused to give me a full refund.

CAAfter booking a flight After booking a flight, and receiving written confirmation documents, I got a call from Farebooth sayng that the confirmation is no longer valid. HOWEVER, he could book me on another flight, which would cost more. He said that since it was within the 24 hour cancellation time there should be no problem. He even said he would look after that. After 5 days, I still didn't see the refund and contacted him again. He said that it could up to 10-15 days to clear. So I waited, and waited. Contacted the agent again and he assured me that the request cancellation was put in. He suggested I contact Travelocity and my bank to iron this out. So I did, and they could not find any evidence of the cancellation. I did a check on the Farebooth web site and THEY still show this as active. BTW - The new ticket was not only higher price, but on the SAME PLANE.
