My company uses this soft for HR… My company uses this soft for HR purposes (for all enployees). It's doing the job but the UI is very simplistic, it looks like a blog from early 2000'. Some HR features are missing so we have to use another soft to compensate for it, and now we pay twice the amount we used to pay when we were using one of their competitor. Nonsense.

Makes managing people much easier As a manager of a marketing team, HR responsibilities can become a huge distraction to the work I actually need to get done. HR became something I hated dealing with, but Bamboo HR has made it so much easier. Their platform is great and easy to work with. Employees have the responsibility to do a lot of the work themselves, but the manager can do a lot of HR-related tasks easily and quickly on their platform. The automation of certain HR responsibilities makes my life much easier. I think anyone looking to automate more HR would be very happy with Bamboo HR.

User for 6+ years and love it! I have been using BambooHR for 6+ years now and love their system. It is super easy to use and they are continually updating the system for ease and functionality. They also allow users to put in system requests and if they receive enough, the update may happen. Being that we have out of state employees, the electronic signatures make it possible to on-board efficiently and it has a time stamp feature for the person who sent the file and the person who signed the file. We recently started using their Time Tracking system and it too is super easy, no more submitting time cards, and when an employee uses PTO, it automatically fills in on their time sheet.

Overall Experience Overall, BambooHR has been very helpful for a HRIS tool. However, there is still some manual processes with onboarding, transfers, and off-boarding. It seems that the offboarding tasks do not get triggered within the workflow like the onboarding ones. I also wish there was more integration with other platforms for background checks and benefits administration.

Good software, poor sales experience While looking for HR software I trialled BambooHR having used it as an employee once before. The software itself is good. However, the experience with Sales lost them a customer. BambooHR are the only SaaS platform that refuse to list their prices. The reason for this is clear, they're not competitive and probably have no idea of their pricing structure. I asked numerous times what their pricing was for a certain package with a certain number of employees. They kept refusing to tell me, instead asking me to have a call with someone else. I really hate it when companies hide their pricing. For this reason I went elsewhere.
