Good software, poor sales experience While looking for HR software I trialled BambooHR having used it as an employee once before. The software itself is good. However, the experience with Sales lost them a customer. BambooHR are the only SaaS platform that refuse to list their prices. The reason for this is clear, they're not competitive and probably have no idea of their pricing structure. I asked numerous times what their pricing was for a certain package with a certain number of employees. They kept refusing to tell me, instead asking me to have a call with someone else. I really hate it when companies hide their pricing. For this reason I went elsewhere.

Unfortunately Bamboozle not the answer Yea since we’ve started with these people my pay check is similar to a Ferris wheel. I used to receive it every other Wednesday between 5:38 - 5:42 pm. Every single time. With Bamboozle, it’s Thursday morning, Friday morning or afternoon. Heck even at 2:46 am one time. So I call and of course they won’t tell me anything I’m not the contact person so. All these companies use every excuse to not help people. Their favorite word is unfortunately…….

I had to move to a UK company after… I had to move to a UK company after they accidently loaded someone elses data into our live site. Nothing i could do, no one was interested at bamboo and no one was interested outside of bamboo, as they are not an EU company. Nothing I could do, leason learned. Worst part is, we noticed at 8am, but because of the time difference no one was there to support is until around 2pm UK time. We have now moved to a UK supplier whilst the software isnt as nice, at least I feel my data is safer.

Outshining Our Human HRs Down here, in our company, BambooHR is our HR lifeline. Personally, I've been logging my hours, slapping on my travel deets, and snagging days off – all just through this platform. No need for pesky emails or playing phone tag.

Overall Experience Overall, BambooHR has been very helpful for a HRIS tool. However, there is still some manual processes with onboarding, transfers, and off-boarding. It seems that the offboarding tasks do not get triggered within the workflow like the onboarding ones. I also wish there was more integration with other platforms for background checks and benefits administration.
