Confused I found the salesman George kind of confusing. He didn’t really start with information about the solar system. He was more interested in talking about the future possibilities and his work with WAPA and FERC and about establishing a CCA. Really over my head and didn’t get a good feel for the system. In the end I went with another company.

They were very honest about telling me… They were very honest about telling me that the trees around my house did not make it a good candidate for solar power. Appreciate their honesty and would call again for a different house

$2500 Cancellation Fee When I decided to cancel, I was told I had to pay a $2500 cancellation fee. This was Not discussed at the time of signing up so I was blindsided by this. I am going to file a formal complaint with the BBB and the Attorney General. Debt collectors are calling my house constantly. I DO NOT recommend doing business with them and their contractors /vendors.

Go Green, Love Solar Was considering solar panels for some time but was always turned off by the expense. When Craig C., the Encor Solar sales representative, came to my house and explained the system, the benefits, the warranty and the total cost I was sold. From the information provided I was able to figure out my break even date (cost for solar verses cost for power), my break even date is 9 years then no more electricity bills. Craig set up everything delivery, installation, electrical hook-up, and follow up. All went off as planned and on time. Delivery, installation, electrical and office personnel were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and Covid 19 aware. My system was installed 6 months ago and I haven't had an electric bill since. In months 1 thru 3 I banked $98 worth of power, I used $58 of that over the next two high use months and am now building excess power again. Office personnel set me up so I can monitor my system as a whole or each panel individually any time I want, this is a big plus. Bottom line when you figure cost over time, the warranty that comes on the system and the benefit to the planet the decision is easy. A recommendation I do have is if possible get your own financing the Credit Union that Oncor Solar has a contract with I do not like. I"ve worked with many Credit Unions over the years but none like this one.

Down 95% of the time...YAY! We had our system installed in November 2017 and the system has been down nearly the entire time. We have produced power only 17 days since install...an astounding 95% failure rate. The installers have been back to our house at least a half dozen times to "repair" the system including replacing the inverter panels with completely new ones. I am thoroughly disappointed with the entire process and wish I would not have made the SUBSTANTIAL investment.
