dont do it dont do it. got them thru costco....worse decision. we pay the same if not more and just added a middle man. they under estimated the number of panels... theres other reputable solar companies out there. seems we are the only ones with solar and still paying outrageous prices. everyone that owns solar...other tan sunrun have credit!!!!

Will dox you to random strangers I have had almost no problems with the service, the setup and the sale rep were very up front about how long things take to get permitted in Hawaii and that I wasn't charged until the service was fully operational. That was all great. But then 2 years into having the system working flawlessly, I get this guy, Josh Robinson, contact me from Sunrun. Josh told me I needed a solar checkup and to send him my power bill. So I sent him a screenshot of my power bill and he sent me back a power bill of another customer as an example. This power bill was for someone on a different island and it was entirely unredacted. I could see the name, address, account number, payment methods, phone number, etc. All was there on this. I raised a concern to Josh and he blew me off, in fact he hung up on me when I got upset that he didn't think it was a big deal. So I called his boss and his boss downplayed it as well. These guys don't take your privacy seriously and will just randomly dox you to other customers!!!

Just best to avoid this company Just best to avoid this company. It's a micro-managed assembly line outsourced sales nightmare. Anytime a company operates via "customer portal" with the exception of your medical care, don't walk, run. A design, engineering, construction and sales company can't operate like amazon! Breaking off human interaction and creating a web based robotic system to handle customers is ridicules. The entire industry needs to clean up its game. From false and misleading advertising, detrimental financial contracts, bogus promises to 3rd party outsourcing, solar has become a nightmare that 10's of thousands live every day! This company has done its share based on my review and thousands of others its only goal is to take your money and head down the road to the next victim.

I'm appalled by your blatant disregard… I'm appalled by your blatant disregard for common courtesy in handling my case. Despite my persistent efforts to seek an update, I've been met with nothing but incompetence and evasion. Today's interaction with service company Freedom Forever LLC was also a new low, as I was informed that the account is still under the previous homeowner's name after a staggering two years of ownership change. Their ineptitude is staggering. Their audacious failure to put my account on hold is unacceptable. It's outrageous that I've been charged $134.85 today for a service that hasn't been rendered, considering my solar system has been dysfunctional. How can you justify charging me for non-existent services and when can I expect a full reimbursement for a faulty system?

Disconnected sewer pump-6 months later no solar connection Going on our sixth month of having panels on the roof, but still not connected/fully installed. When they put the panels on the roof, the electrical installers removed our electrical connection to our sump pump/ejector pump which caused a sewer back in the home. Cost me an additional $2000 for any emergency pump, for which Sun Run still hasn’t reimbursed. They had their team come out and reconnect electrical connection to pump, but that’s not really good enough. I would avoid using Sun Run if I had the option to do this again. The only reason I worked with them was due to their connection with Costco, which, from my experience, chooses good vendors to work with. I will not be surprised if Costco discontinues this relationship moving forward.
