Beware of Sunrun's contract scam I scheduled a consultation with Sunrun as I was exploring installing solar panels. He came to my place with my colleague and the meeting went well until he told me the next step was to sign a paper so the Sunrun team could come to my place and measure the roof. He presented me with his iPad and told me all he needed was my signature on the page. I said I was uncomfortable signing a document I didn't read, and he pressured me to sign. I refused and asked to see the document instead. It turns out it was the purchase agreement for the solar system with a price of over $13k and he wanted me to sign it. I was very upset, ended the meeting, and escorted both sales guys out of my house. This was a very bad trick, and I'm sure some people would have signed the contract without knowing they were purchasing the system. Beware of Sunrun's misleading sales techniques

Can't read "No Soliciting" signs Derek ignored THREE clearly posted "No Soliciting" signs on his way to ring my doorbell. I told him "No Soliciting" and he quickly played it off saying "I just wanted to let neighbors know we will be doing some work in the area." I said "Ok, I'm good with that." He commenced to try to sell me on Sunrun anyway. I told him that I have done my research on solar companies, and would like to own solar panels over renting, and I will be contacting the company of my choice when I decide to get solar panels. That company will not be Sunrun. My neighborhood also has a shared email list that we openly communicate through. I will be warning them about Sunrun, and hopefully they will be able to cancel their contracts.

Sunrun is horrible to work with Sunrun is horrible to work with. It has been five months, paying on the solar system and yet to have the panels/battery operating. I get the same story "We are waiting on" insert excuse here. If you want Solar Panels and hear Sunrun, just RUN FAR AWAY!!!! The Tesla Battery also fell off my house, while I am waiting for it to start operating. So if you actually decide to use Sunrun be prepared to be intensely disappointed.

dont do it dont do it. got them thru costco....worse decision. we pay the same if not more and just added a middle man. they under estimated the number of panels... theres other reputable solar companies out there. seems we are the only ones with solar and still paying outrageous prices. everyone that owns solar...other tan sunrun have credit!!!!

NO PANELS AND STILL PAYING !!!! My panels were removed over three months ago for a new roof to be installed. In three months, when the panels are in my garage, I am still paying as if I have panels on my roof, and the plans for replacing them on my roof are still pending ....
