Terrible customer service Terrible customer service, they lie, they are chronically our of stock on many items. I had an item on pre-order for 6 months and when it got released my order was never fulfilled even when I got subsequent messages saying the item was in stock and I should order now. I contacted their support who lied to me assuring they were going to fulfill the order and the warehouse was processing the shipment. Then a few days later I was told via email to cancel and re-order if I wanted it now that it's again on back order again.

Service,shipping,pricing overall however makes it definitely worth while shopping here! Multiple time purchaser of tower hobbies. Payment plan options are really helpful for people on low budget that can only handle a montly single payment.

Lure you in with Coupons & Rebates you can't use I purchased a very larger order (Slash Ultimate w/many accesories) expected to get at least $40 e-cash to spend. Only to find out that my $40 e-cash expired in 5 days from my order, it expired before my order was delivered/even shipped! RC is a big time hobby, and requires constant work/parts. I will never go back to Tower Hobbies regardless of pricing, discounts, coupons, rebates.

Tower's System is awful I have spent many hours trying to buy RC aircraft. Their system would go on hold and not conclude the transaction. I recently ordered an RC sailplane. It arrived with a component problem [bad spar insert] after some hours on the computer, I got a replacement. When it arrived it had the exact same problem. Hours later I am told to return everything that there will be no more replacements. I felt like I was treated as some chiesler scamming them. I wanted to alert them that there was a problem and how many others would suffer the same experience.

Don't try to purchase anything from Tower Don't try to purchase anything from Tower. They are not shipping anything, and customer service is also down. Note also that order cancellations are not allowed. They have a note that explains why. But it sounds like #%$* to me. It looks like they are going out of business and taking orders on stuff they don't have in stock.
