I plugged the unit in to my inverter in my work van and on the hottest day of the year, without the van running, it held my preset temperatures and my van started right up (diesel) after over 18 hours of inverter operation! Was listed as open box, but other than little extra tape on packaging, it looked new. Arrived in quoted time, in working order and complete with accessories.
