Would stay away I did the photo key cut. The product I got was not even close to what I took a picture of. I was instructed to send a new photo of my key next to their cut. After nearly a month I received a new key that was also completely off. I would not use their photo-key service, their technology clearly is not there. The key fob they provided worked but required factory programming, not the provided device. I’d look at other services

Classic user error. They saved the day. I didn’t really have all my ducks in a row and made some mistakes in my communication to Tom’s. For example, I didn’t watch the videos I needed and ordered the wrong programmer. They refunded my original order and just charged me for the correct programmer. Everything worked once I did my part. The only thing that would’ve made this perfect would be talking to a live person and not waiting on email. I was in no rush, just anxious to see if things worked as easy as they say and it did. They saved me hundreds for two keys.

Responsive support. Refunded for technical issues I tried ordering a key copy and the programmer. The key was cut correctly, and the programmer paired with the app, but there was some kind of technical issue with pairing the new key. I suspect the issue was on my end (the car was bought used and the locks had been changed at some point by the previous owner). Customer support was responsive to my emails and helped troubleshoot. When a solution wasn't found, I was able to send everything back for a full refund. I'd recommend trying Tom's to save money on programming a new key.
