Updating Map software. Updating the map software was made “super” easy with Bimmer America process. Although you always have some reservations with auto software updates, the ending result was superb and I now wouldn’t think twice on the next update!!

I ordered the EVO 2022-2 North America… I ordered the EVO 2022-2 North America map update for my 2016 BMW 428i online. A couple of hours after the order was placed, I received download and installation instructions via e-mail. (The file is large (~28MB) and took over half an hour to download.) The instructions are straightforward, although I found it necessary to provide my own Fat32 formatter for the USB. Nonetheless, everything worked, and the new map is now successfully installed in my Bimmer!

I enjoy being involved in my BMW’s… I enjoy being involved in my BMW’s maintenance. However, very few things can be done by the owner as BMW has built many complex systems into the “Ultimate Driving Machine”. Bimmer America provides all the knowledge I need to update my BMW GPS maps myself. Thank you for making a smooth process.

Terrific Service and Great Value! I have ordered map updates from Bimmer America for my 2011 328xi a few times and each time I was able to load the update with little trouble - North America Premium 2022-2. Received the download information and instructions within hours of the order being confirmed. The upload to the car took exactly the amount of time that Tyler suggested.
