When our '07 Toyota Sequoia started… When our '07 Toyota Sequoia started having transmission troubles, we brought it to Cottmans, because of the excellent reviews. Problems were assessed and solved in a timely manner. I checked around for comparison prices on the work needed to be done, and theirs was fair. More importantly the staff, Daniel imparticularly, was very informative and did not make us feel like we were being ripped off. The next time we have transmission troubles, Cottman's will get the call!

Great friendly front staff Great friendly front staff. Fast Service. Full transmission rebuild (not just replace) in 4 days. Vehicle was ready when promised. Work was first class. Undercar inspection revealed everything back to factory standards. Transmission performance is excellent. Only time will tell durability. But with 2 year warranty and current performance not worried about durability. Technician was very knowledgeable about my old 700R4.

Service was outstanding Service was outstanding. Follow up has been good. Currently we are on the road, the engine has started the shifting/rev activity again. Right now because we are so far away from Columbia (Harrisonburg VA) we stopped at the local AAMCO who seems to have further identified another issue. Probably not foreseen by the Cottman group. The team in Columbia did their best to get us in a service center near by, however we were still an hour and a half away from the one Cottman reserved when the check engine light came on again.

Very professional Our 2003 Chevy Malibu had issues with the anti-theft system: at random times it would forget it's key and go into 10 minute lockout mode. Cottman's diagnosed, replaced ignition lock and housing, and reprogrammed computer to recognize all this. Pricey, but probably better than dealer would have charged. They are very honest and reliable.

What wonderful service What wonderful service! Though my car needed more than just transmission work, they kept me up-to-date on the repairs that were being done as well as any additional work that needed to be done as they were working on my car. Service was quick and thorough!
