Friendly, quick, honest, and transparent My Honda was a loss because of a blown transmission but when I took my car there they were completely transparent with costs associated with my car, if I wanted to replace the transmission, and they even let me store the car overnight until a tow trunk could come to take it to a junk yard. I highly recommend Cottmans to anybody. Very friendly and knowledgeable even though I asked a thousand questions, and I even corresponded with them over email/phone calls a few times and got prompt replies back (can’t say that for other shops I’ve gone to). If/when I have transmission issues in my next car I’m coming back!

Always Thorough I've been coming to Cottman for about a year now, whether it's an oil change, full vehicle inspection (free!), or some difficult mechanical work. They may seem to be a bit more expensive than your chain shops (looking at you firestone) but, their work is impeccable and i wouldn't take my vehicle any where else. These guys are the local mechanics your dad used to trust.

2005 Acura TL Cottman Transmissions made our auto experience an outstanding experience during a bad time. They provided a tow truck for free to their establishment. Everything they said they did. I took my truck in for a diagnostic… I took my truck in for a diagnostic test because the transmission was Slipping in 2nd and 3rd gear. I paid 100 bucks and got it back to find out what’s wrong with it and they told me the transmission was shot. They needed to take the transmission out for a complete diagnostic To tell me what exactly was wrong with it which would be a additional $500 I declined on the offer. But they were friendly and gave me Price ranges on how I should build my trans for the every day work I do with my truck.
