GBTerrible website full of sharks and… Terrible website full of sharks and there is NO protection or customer service. We found a freelancer on Upwork - who caused us so much damage. They also sneakily get you to sign up to there dreadful service and its impossible to find out how to stop the subscription. All automated CS no one interest and couldn't give a damn. Still trying to contact them - the chat is a BOT not a person

TRI dont want to share my privacy on Internet. Recently, the mandatory identity verification issue it has enforced has been a complete fiasco. Really, why aren't the authorities putting a stop to this? Employers(or upwork) are asking for personal information from us because they don't believe where freelancers live. I don't find it ethical for them to request intimate details such as our ID number, personal photo, another selfie on top of that, our date of birth, gender, nationality, and when our passport will expire. No one should have to trust anyone completely. There's no guarantee we'll find clients, yet we're giving information to strangers. It's unsettling.

PLNot recommend to anyone Not recommend to anyone, nor freelancer neither clients. Was the best freelance platform. Now it's the worst. - Average bid cost is about 3$ while average project cost is 10$. - About 85% of projects posted are fake. - Service fee is 2 times larger than it was year ago. - Awful support (looks like it doesn't exist at all). - Scammers scammers scammers. Extremely greedy company who ruins their business themselves.

GBComplete waste of time and money A complete waste of time and money. Their pro membership gives you more connects, but it doesn't help you get work. When you're starting from scratch its literally impossible to get work without any reviews. You can be the most talented, experienced professional in your field but you'll lose out to a cheap off-shore solution. I've spent hundred of dollars on membership, sending proposals, cutting costs to the point of it not even being worth it, and still no interest.

DEBy far the most annoying experience… By far the most annoying experience I've ever had with a freelancer platform. My account is simply blocked for no reason and despite repeated requests. What exactly the problem is, is referred to the terms and conditions and after reviewing the terms and conditions, despite repeated correspondence, I see no reason that justifies the blocking. I can't get any clear information from support. For me, this is nothing other than the biggest scam. How can you block the account of someone who is economically dependent on it? That's unbelievable. I will never use this stupid platform again.
