Upwork is nest of scammers The freelance site upwork.com is a joke; it's absolutely full of scammers. It seems that anyone from India, Pakistan, or other places with just a device can call themselves a full-stack developer. They promise you everything, but in the end, they are at most, at best, high school graduates who happen to have a computer. Do NOT, I repeat, let yourself be scammed like I was for thousands of US dollars. Contacting Upwork is not possible, and if you complain about a freelancer and give them one or two stars, they can also rate the client with a star. Do you understand that? I will advise everybody to stay away from it

Unfair & Expensive Platform Upwork is not a great place for freelancing. Everything is getting expensive. 3$ just to apply to a job. Not happy with this platform.

Lots of good experiences over many years I've used Upwork for many years for all kinds of projects and it really is pretty good. Perhaps if you are having trouble with your projects perhaps it is because you are picking the wrong clients or freelancers? ...that isn't really Upwork's fault. I will say Upwork login/password procedures are quite awkward. More than any other website I have used I have had password issues. The issue when resetting password it asks you to verify in app ...which is no good if you are not logged into the app. Extremely frustrating

tl;dr Upwork simply dont. tl;dr Upwork simply dont. Upwork is a very bad place to work with clients. I tried to offer severl projects. As soon as one project was accepted by a freelancer the site suspended my profile. Support is not helping at all. Their responses are not related to the issue. Verification process is failing for unknown reasons, no feedback. Tickets are marked as solved without being. Communication with freelancer who started with the project is not possible, as they Upwork denies any communication. Long story short, i went to another site which is much better.
