GBPut a transmission in August 2017 and… Put a transmission in August 2017 and have gone back 4 times due to transmission leaking and not performing sufficiently. This last time the GM was at the store and I told him what was going on. He told me the core was not working correctly and we started at the beginning. The GM said that he would start my warranty over for another year. I really appreciated that from him. His name is Jody and he was in the Durham store. Thanks a lot Jody for your help and patience.

GBI have found a great place in Cottman's … I have found a great place in Cottman's of Durham. The man that runs the place, Jody, is a wonderful and trustworthy person to have to take care of you and your car. He patiently explains every question that I have and he always comes through with what he says and tells me. I never leave there feeling uncomfortable. He makes sure that I get the best of care, and there are not too many places that I can boast of that. I can also boast that he goes the extra mile with taking care of me after hours. If you've never tried Cottman's for your specific car care needs, I highly recommend that you do. I know that Jody is a godsend to me. Ursula

GB04 Acura TL transmission repair unsatified I brought my car to them for a transmission rebuild. They gave me my car back the first time and a gasket blew causing my fluid to leak a lot, which burnt my clutch pads and probably damaged other components.They gladly took another look and replaced the clutch pads, and gave me my car back. Now I am driving it and it hasn't been even a month and I'm already experiencing hesitating, slow shifting, and slipping they're are slight but still there and still a major problem if not taken care of quickly and with precision which I feel this shop lacks the precision and attention to detail that is required for such a job.

GBCar was "checked out" and the only … Car was "checked out" and the only information I was given was they would charge Just short of $500 to take tranny out/in. No info on possible problem or cost. I spent 30 minutes on internet and found all the info on problem with car and solutions to fix it. Plus a sizeable amount of change was taken out of the arm rest console. Overall not happy at all
