Excellent, Safe, and on time service Despite our very early departure, Veronica arrived in plenty of time. She got us to our destination(s) promptly and safely. There were quite a few tight maneuvers she had to make to get us to Hillwood - it was all done well and professionally. The bus was clean and well-outfitted. We appreciated the WIFI and the charging stations at each seat. And the microphone worked well. All things good to have in working order on a tour. It was a smooth and very positive experience working with Academy.

Locked on FREEZING coach with sick passenger I am a long time user of Academy Buses in NYC and other cities all over the East Coast. I have always had the highest praise for their coaches and most of their drivers. I had the worst experience EVER while making a transfer from Miami Intl to Carnival Cruise terminal. My mother was ill from the flight, we asked if we had time to get food and were told 5 minutes later to board the bus. We sat on a FREEZING cold coach #11931, (a bus that seems to still be around from 1960) for 35 minutes in front of the comfortable terminal with food without moving or explanation. 40 minutes later, We finally moved only to go 1 gate away to pick up 5 other guests. This stop took another 20 minutes. Arrived at cruise terminal, the driver mumbled something about unloading and I yelled that someone needed to get off the coach. The driver then LOCKED all the passengers on the bus and ignored me while unloading 40 pieces of luggage and my Mother began vommitng on the coach. The driver and luggage helper continued to ignore me knocking on the window and screaming to have my mother exit. Once they were finished with bags, the driver actually paused to drink and wipe his brow as we still waited to disembark. I am a tour guide and have never in 10 years seen such practice by any driver on any coach in the US Canada and Europe. I notice this is common practice because your drivers need to get tipped but leaving passengers locked in a coach without operator inside is gross negligence and very bad practice by your company.

Shuttle bus Driver. Shuttle bus Driver. I was lucky enough to be paired with Dawn who was punctual, exercised good discretion while driving (she knew the fastest way to get us to our location) and went above and beyond in making sure our group was taken cared of and everyone was satisfied. If ever I am in DC again, I would like to work with her.

You have bus drivers on their phone blasting music! You have bus drivers on their phone, blasting their personal music and causing delays. Some of us are up at 4am and want a quiet ride home… Train your drivers better please! They have (56) people’s lives in their hands literally!!! eg. -Bus 6826 on 4/5/23 5:00pm departure from port authority

Great Experience with Academy Bus! Just completed a great week working with Academy Bus out of Miami. Sales Representatives Jennifer and Maria took great care of our schedules and were able to make adjustments efficiently. Our driver Joe was superb. On-time, professional, and friendly - Joe even called ahead on his own to ensure his Academy Bus could park at a local restaurant to support one of our social events.
