I was lucky enough to be paired with Dawn who was punctual, exercised good discretion while driving (she knew the fastest way to get us to our location) and went above and beyond in making sure our group was taken cared of and everyone was satisfied. If ever I am in DC again, I would like to work with her.

Academy Bus Lines breaks parking laws… Academy Bus Lines breaks parking laws at least once a month in my neighborhood. The buses park in a no parking zone, leave their motors running and the drivers disappear for a couple of hours. They have been warned over and over but continue to break the law and destroy the environment. Two days ago, two buses parked in front of Joe's Stone Crab parking lot on Collins Ave in Miami Beach.. This is where the buses always park even though there is no bus parking. Morever leaving motors running is so bad for the environment , that the drivers should take a course in the dangers of air pollution. . Fortunately Code Compliance officers came and the buses finally left.

Chris Bazemore is an absolute miracle… Chris Bazemore is an absolute miracle worker! When I realized I made a mistake with dates for our busses, he perfectly accommodated our needs and then some. We are now able to make our school trip within the dates requested. I highly recommend Academy for school field trip needs at any time due to their prompt and courteous service.

LOVED EVERYTHING except 1 thing.. LOVED EVERYTHING about working with Academy except one thing... Felt like I was getting shook down to tip one of the 3 drivers we had booked. While I had every intention of providing a tip once I was done with my event (which went longer than the contracted amount of time with our buses), one bus driver was intentionally hanging out and told one of my team members that he was waiting for me to give him a tip. Not how you do business. That being said, I'd still use Academy again.

Bus driver was very poor The experience prior to day of was great. Very responsive and flexible in booking and planning. the driver however was very unresponsive. First he took everyone to Brooklyn NOT Manhatten and then did not want to bring everyone to Manhatten. Planner had to argue with him. Also for pickup he just picked another location a couple of blocks away because "it was better and he did not want to drive to the other location". Very frustrating.
